What is VITMEE Application Form 2027?

VITMEE — the VIT Masters Entrance Examination — is a national-level university entrance test organised by VIT University for admission to postgraduate engineering and technology programmes. It covers M.Tech, MCA, and M.Des programmes across all four VIT campuses: VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP (Amaravati), and VIT Bhopal. VITMEE 2027 Eligibility Criteria (Before You Apply)

Check your eligibility before the VITMEE 2027 window opens. Applications from ineligible students are rejected, and the ₹1,200 fee is not refunded.

VIT requires a minimum of 60% at every academic level — Class 10, Class 12, and qualifying degree — not just the UG aggregate. If your marks fall below 60% at any one level, you may be considered ineligible even if your overall degree percentage meets the threshold. Confirm this from the official information brochure before applying.

A GATE score is not required. VITMEE is VIT’s own entrance test, and your VITMEE score is the primary criterion for admission. A valid GATE scorecard may be produced at counselling as supporting merit evidence, but it is not a prerequisite for applying.

How to Fill VITMEE Application Form 2027

The VITMEE 2027 application will be entirely online at admissions.vit.ac.in. The process has two phases. Complete both in a single session where possible — VIT does not allow any changes after fee payment, so there is no second chance to correct an error.

Phase 1: New Registration

1. Visit admissions.vit.ac.in once the window opens and click the VITMEE 2027 — New Registration link.
2. Enter your full name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number exactly as on your qualifying certificate.
3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS.
4. VIT will email and SMS your login ID and password — save them immediately. You will need these credentials for admit card download, exam entry, and counselling.
5. Log in with those credentials to access the application form.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Log in at admissions.vit.ac.in using your registration credentials.
2. Fill in your personal details: full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, and contact address.
3. Enter your academic details: Class 10 board, year, and percentage; Class 12 board, year, and percentage; qualifying degree, institution, year of passing, and aggregate percentage or CGPA.
4. Select your programme preference: M.Tech (with specialisation), MCA, or M.Des.
5. Choose your campus preference: VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT-AP (Amaravati), or VIT Bhopal.
6. Select your preferred exam centre city — slot booking after registration closes is first-come, first-served, so apply early to secure your preferred centre.
7. Upload your passport-size photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format within the specified dimensions and file size limits.
8. Review every field carefully — name, date of birth, programme, campus, and academic marks. No changes are permitted after fee payment.
9. Pay the application fee of ₹1,200 via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or Paytm / digital wallet.
10. Download and print the confirmation page after successful payment — keep it safe for all future steps.

Note: Submit only one application form. Multiple applications from the same student will be summarily rejected and the fee will not be refunded.

VITMEE Application Fee 2027

VITMEE charges a single flat application fee of ₹1,200 (inclusive of GST) for all students. Unlike NTA-conducted exams (JEE Main, NEET) where reserved-category students pay a lower fee, VITMEE offers no category-based reduction — SC/ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD students pay the same ₹1,200 as all other applicants.

Payment is accepted via: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, and Paytm / digital wallets. No offline payment mode (cheque, demand draft, or cash) is accepted.

Note: The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances — even if your application is rejected on eligibility grounds, you do not appear for the exam, or you withdraw your application after submission.

VITMEE does not offer a form correction window. This is a significant difference from NTA exams (JEE Main, NEET, CUET) which routinely open a dedicated correction window after registration closes. For VITMEE 2027, once you pay the application fee, no changes are accepted under any circumstances.

Contact VIT PG Admissions directly before the application window closes. VIT may consider correction requests for critical data (name, date of birth) submitted in writing to the admissions office — but there is no guarantee and no formal process for this. Do not rely on it as a fallback.
