The University of Delhi (DU) will start the admission process against the DU Special cut-off list today, i.e., November 24, 2020.
As per the admission schedule announced by Delhi University on November 21, candidates will be able to apply under the DU Undergraduate Special Cut-off List from November 24, 2020 (9 am) till 1 pm on November 25, 2020, on the official website: du.ac.in.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, DU is conducting its admission process online, adhering to the social distancing norms issued as a precaution against the virus spread.
The university has already published the DU Special cut-off list for the merit-based UG admission on its official website at du.ac.in. Candidates who have applied for the Delhi University undergraduate programmes can visit the official website of DU to check the Special Cutoff. Regarding the DU Special cut-off list, the official statement stated, “An applicant who has cancelled his/ her admission in the 5th Cut-Off will not be eligible to participate in the special cut-off.”
The statement further added, “All applicants who are admitted to any course (payment is done) are hereby notified not to cancel their admission...The applicants who cancel their admissions after the closure of the 5th cut-off will not be considered for the Special Cut-Off. This is following the guidelines published in the Bulletin of Information for UG that there will be no movement allowed during the special cut-off.”
DU Admission 2020: How to Apply against DU Special Cut-Off List?
Candidates can follow the simple steps to successfully fill the DU application form:
Step 1: Visit the official website of DU or go to the affiliated colleges’ website and check course-wise DU special cut-offs 2020
Step 2: Choose DU College and course, respectively.
Step 3: Register online at the college websites.
Step 4: Enter the required details.
Step 5: Submit the application form and the application fee.
Step 6: Download and save the form for future references.
Apart from this, students must note that DU will publish a sixth cut-off list before November 30, 2020. Candidates seeking admission to the university and its affiliated colleges will be able to register online for Admission under the DU sixth cut-off list between November 30, 2020, and December 2, 2020.
The reports also state that it is expected that DU might release a seventh cut-off list if seats remain vacant until then, and admission against the DU 7th cut-off list would take place from December 7, 2020, to December 9, 2020.
