IGNOU Mega Campus Placement Drive 2026 on July 27 and 28 at Maidan Garhi; Check How to Register

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced a Mega Campus Placement Drive. The drive will be held on July 27 and 28, 2026, offering more than 350 job vacancies to eligible learners and alumni.

The event will take place at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Convention Centre, located inside the IGNOU Headquarters at Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. Recruitment activities will begin at 10 AM on both days.

A total of seven organisations will recruit candidates for roles across sales, banking, insurance, hospitality, customer support, supply chain, design and analytics. The company-wise vacancies, job profiles and salary packages mentioned in the official placement brochure are given below.

Who Is Eligible for the IGNOU Placement Drive 2026?

The placement drive is open to IGNOU learners, alumni and final-semester students. Freshers and pass-outs can also participate, provided they meet the eligibility conditions specified by the recruiting companies.

Eligible undergraduate programmes include:

• BA
• BEd
• BSc
• BCom
• BBA

Postgraduate and diploma students can also apply. This includes candidates pursuing or holding qualifications such as MCom, postgraduate diplomas and diploma programmes across different streams.

Each recruiter may specify additional conditions related to age, academic qualifications, experience or programme eligibility.

Apart from academic qualifications, candidates should possess strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. Recruiters may also evaluate candidates on the basis of:

• Digital literacy
• Adaptability
• Time-management skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Role-specific technical skills

Specialised skills may be required for profiles in data analytics, UI/UX design, marketing and human resources.

How to Register for the IGNOU Placement Drive?

The Campus Placement Cell is expected to share a Google Form registration link on the IGNOU website. Candidates should complete the registration form before reporting to the venue.

Walk-in participation may also be permitted, subject to the approval and requirements of the participating companies.

Candidates can follow these steps to register:

1. Visit the official IGNOU website at ignou.ac.in.
2. Open the IGNOU announcements page.
3. Click on the notification for the July 27–28 Mega Campus Placement Drive.
4. Download the official brochure and review the company-wise vacancies, eligibility criteria and job roles.
5. Open the available Google Form registration link.
6. Enter the correct academic, personal and contact details.
7. Submit the registration form and save the confirmation details.

What Documents Should Candidates Carry?

Candidates must report to the venue with a complete set of required documents. Missing or incorrect documents may result in disqualification during registration or screening.
