IGNOU Relaxes Admission Criteria For MBA Banking and Finance; Check Details Here

New Delhi: As per the latest updates, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has modified the admission criteria for its MBA Banking and Finance program. IGNOU’s regional centre in Ahmedabad announced the revised criteria via its Twitter account on July 18, 2023.

According to the updated criteria of IGNOU, candidates who wish to apply for admission to IGNOU’s MBA Banking and Finance Program 2023 would no longer need to be CAIIB certified and have two years of work experience in the banking and financial industry.

Candidates who have completed their UG degree with a minimum cumulative mark of 50% (45% for reserved categories) will now be able to pursue admissions in the IGNOU MBA Banking and Finance Program due to the relaxation of the admission requirements.

Notably, the MBA Banking and Finance program is a crucial management course offered by the IGNOU and was created and supported by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. The institution provides both open and distant learning options for the program.

Candidates can register for IGNOU Admission 2023 for the July 2023 session via the official IGNOU Admissions website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. IGNOU extended the registration deadline for new and returning students to July 31, 2023.

While applying for admissions, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee as well as the first year/semester program fee for the specific course. If registrations are cancelled or withdrawn, the request for a refund of the paid amount will be handled in accordance with university standards.
