Jharkhand Nursing Entrance Exam 2026 Registration Begins at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in; Check How to Apply for BSc, PBBSc, ANM and GNM

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has opened registration for the Jharkhand Nursing Entrance Competitive Examination 2026. The application window opens on July 16, 2026, through the official portal, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The board has issued separate advertisements for four nursing courses.

Eligible candidates can apply for Basic BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing (PBBSc), General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), and Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM). The entrance test is scheduled for August 23, 2026. It will be conducted in offline pen-and-paper mode at designated examination centres across Jharkhand.

Courses Covered Under the 2026 Notification

JCECEB has released four separate advertisements for the nursing programmes. Each course has a different eligibility requirement and duration. Candidates must select the correct programme before starting the application process.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

For Basic BSc Nursing, candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. A minimum aggregate of 45 percent in PCB and English is required. The applicant must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2026.

Applicants for Post Basic BSc Nursing must hold a valid GNM diploma and be registered as a Registered Nurse.

Candidates applying for GNM and ANM must have passed Class 12 in any stream. Students who have completed Class 12 through the National Institute of Open Schooling with Science subjects are also eligible to apply for BSc Nursing.

The board has activated the online application link on its official portal. Candidates should complete the registration process before the closing date mentioned in the detailed advertisement.

• Register using a valid mobile number and email ID.
• Enter the required personal, academic and category details.
• Upload the scanned photograph, signature and supporting documents.
• Pay the application fee through the available online payment methods.
