Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has begun the online registration process for the students who were tested positive for COVID-19 before the Karnataka PGCET 2020 exam date. 

Earlier, Karnataka PGCET 2020 exams were slated for October 13, 2020, 2020, for ME/MTech/MArch and October 14 for MBA/MCA courses. However, no further information is available. It is expected that KEA will hold retests for such applicants.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 (for COVID-19 Positive Candidates): How to Register?

Check the steps below to register for Karnataka PGCET 2020:

  1. Visit the official website.
  2. On the homepage, select the link mentioning online registration for COVID-19 positive candidates.
  3. Register by entering the Application User ID and Password of previous registration for Karnataka PGCET 2020.
  4. Enter Captcha text displayed on the screen.
  5. Click on the Submit button.

After successful registration, KEA will send a confirmation email or SMS from KEA regarding the information about the future processes.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Exam Pattern

As per the Karnataka PGCET 2020 exam pattern, the duration of the exam is two hours. The question paper comprises 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from four sections that are mentioned below:

  • General Knowledge
  • Test of Reasoning 
  • Proficiency in English Language
  • General Intelligence and Quantitative Analysis

Each section holds 25 questions. One mark is provided for each right answer. Additionally, there is no negative marking scheme for incorrect responses.

About Karnataka PGCET 2020:

KEA conducts Karnataka PGCET 2020 exam in offline mode across 14 cities of the state of Karnataka. The marks obtained in the exam would be accepted by 178 state colleges for multiple courses. 

Earlier, Karnataka PGCET 2020 admit card was released on October 7, 2020, on the official website. Students appearing for the exam can download from the admit card exam portal by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth.
