Maharashtra HSC Results 2020: Schools and Colleges opened to distribute marksheets
Several schools and colleges in Maharashtra have opened for students their Maharashtra HSC marksheets of 2020. Even though some institutes carried out the process smoothly, some colleges have to face flak from students for opening in this pandemic.
If reports are to be believed, some colleges have also planned to distribute pass certificates over the weekends. Some colleges even created batches for distributing certificates on specified dates to avoid inconvenience.
Mumbai University has not made submitting physical mark sheets a mandate. Despite these relaxations, schools and colleges are constantly receiving requests from students to issue their certificates.
St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai has distributed HSC Results 2020 mark sheets to 80% of the students on 31 July 2020. As per reports, the principal has decided to continue the process until August 4.
However, the mark sheet distribution process was continued maintaining all social distancing norms. None of the students was allowed to wait at least 5 minutes for collecting marksheets.
KC College will post marksheets. Students were asked to fill Google forms about residential address details. Meanwhile, Jai Hind will start distributing marksheets next week.
On the other hand, NM College continued a rather smooth process of distributing marksheets to students. About 1500 students cam to collect their certificates who had taken the Maharashtra HSC 2020, to apply for degree colleges.
Mumbai University has extended the last date for application till August 5 and first merit list will be out by August 6. As per the principal, most of the requests were from students who wished to take admissions into colleges that are private or abroad.
Students applying for colleges abroad were given mark sheets first. Every day 2 batches of students of 100 students were to collect transfer certificates and mark sheets of Maharashtra HSLC 2020.
