National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct NEET 2020 examination again on October 14, 2020. This time examination is being conducted for those candidates who had not appeared for the examination earlier due to medical issues or centre change.
A total of 178 candidates from all over the country are going to appear for the NEET 2020 examination.
Also only 3 candidates are going to appear for the examination from Nagpur, where earlier 20,000 candidates appeared for the exam held a month ago.
NTA informed, “Only 178 candidates filled the application form and uploaded required documents and the number of candidates has hardly increased as of October 13, 2020. As applications are being accepted till 2pm on Tuesday."
Since exam centre staff are barred from talking to the media so currently they are not answering to any of the query.
However, it is being informed that the same Covid-19 guidelines will be followed and candidates need to submit a health certificate to confirm their Covid-19 free status.
One of the candidates from Nagpur told the media expressed her happiness saying that finally exams will be conducted after a long wait for being delayed for months.
She further said that she had become Covid-19 positive when the final date of NEET was announced.
She added that though she had no symptoms for Covid-19 still she was not allowed to appear for the examination as she had already mentioned her health status in the health certificate.
She was told that another exam will be conducted for the students who are not allowed to take this exam.
She kept communicating with NTA via email and after the Supreme court’s order she got a call from NTA regarding the exam of remaining students.
Exam is going to be held on October 14, 2020 between 2 pm and 5 pm. The question will be MCQs based. The result for the examination is going to be announced on October 16, 2020.
