NIFT 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment Result Out at nift.admissions.nic.in; Check Fee Payment Deadline

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released the Round 3 seat allotment result for NIFT Counselling 2026. Allotted candidates can check their status on the official portal at nift.admissions.nic.in. The result covers Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and UG Lateral Entry programmes.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must now submit their willingness for admission and pay the seat acceptance fee online. The last date to complete both actions is July 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

NIFT is a statutory institute under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It conducts a centralised e-counselling process for admission to its 19 campuses across India.

How to Check the NIFT 2026 Round 3 Allotment Result?

Candidates can check their Round 3 allotment status using the same login credentials used during counselling registration.

1. Visit the official NIFT admission portal at nift.admissions.nic.in.
2. Click on the Round 3 seat allotment result link available on the homepage.
3. Log in using the application number and password.
4. Check the allotted NIFT campus and programme on the dashboard.
5. Download the Round 3 allotment letter for future reference.

How to Submit Willingness and Pay the Seat Acceptance Fee?

Allotted candidates must confirm their seat by selecting one of the three willingness options: Freeze, Slide, or Float. The selected option determines whether the candidate will be considered for an upgrade in the upcoming counselling rounds.

• Freeze: Accept the currently allotted seat and exit the seat allocation process.
• Slide: Accept the current seat but seek a better programme at the same NIFT campus.
• Float: Accept the current seat but remain eligible for any permitted upgrade based on merit.

After selecting an option, candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee online. The payment can be completed through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

Candidates who fail to pay the fee by July 17, 2026, at 11:59 PM will face automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.

Who Can Withdraw the Allotted Seat?

Candidates who no longer wish to participate in the counselling process can submit a seat withdrawal application. The withdrawal facility is available from July 15 to July 17, 2026.

The applicable refund will be processed according to the NIFT 2026 seat allocation and refund guidelines.

Candidates should keep scanned copies of the required documents ready before submitting their willingness and paying the fee. These documents may be required during willingness submission or the later document verification process.

• Class 10 mark sheet and certificate
• Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
• Category certificate, if applicable
• Government-issued photo identity proof
• Passport-size photograph and signature
• Round 3 allotment letter downloaded from the portal
