The National Institute of Technology Durgapur (NIT Durgapur) has released the schedule for online admission and hostel reporting for the 2026-27 academic session. The complete notice is available on the official website at nitdgp.ac.in.
The schedule applies to candidates allotted seats through central counselling bodies, including the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) and the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). It also covers postgraduate admissions conducted through CCMT and CCMN.
Selected candidates must complete online reporting within the notified window. They must then report physically at the institute for hostel allotment. The notice includes details about fees, required documents and the step-by-step reporting procedure.

NIT Durgapur Reporting Fee 2026-27
Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee during online reporting. The amount depends on the applicant’s category. The balance institute fee must be paid during the campus reporting stage.

How to Complete the Online Reporting at NIT Durgapur?
Candidates must follow the process mentioned in the official admission notice. The first stage of admission will be conducted completely online.
- Visit the NIT Durgapur admission portal linked through nitdgp.ac.in.
- Log in using the JoSAA, CCMT or CCMN roll number.
- Fill in the required personal, academic and contact details.
- Upload scanned copies of the required documents.
- Pay the balance institute fee through the online portal.
- Download and print the completed admission form for future reference.

Documents Required for NIT Durgapur Admission 2026-27

- Provisional seat allotment letter issued by JoSAA, CSAB, CCMT or CCMN

How to Report at the NIT Durgapur Hostel?
On-campus reporting begins after the candidate’s online admission is confirmed. Students must carry their hostel allotment letter and valid identity proofs during physical reporting.
NIT Durgapur operates seven boys’ hostels and two girls’ hostels. Rooms are generally shared by three to four students until the pre-final year. Final-year students are provided single-occupancy rooms.
The hostel caution money and mess advance must be paid during physical hostel reporting.
