The XIM University (XIMU), Bhubaneswar, has opened admissions to its Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme for the 2027-29 batch. Candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal at apply.xim.edu.in. The last date to apply is December 15, 2026.

The Xavier General Management Test (XGMT) 2027 will be conducted on January 17, 2027. XGMT is the university's own entrance test for MBA admissions. XIM University also accepts scores from national tests such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, and MAT.

XIM University offers the MBA programme through several specialised streams. These include MBA in Business Management, Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Global MBA, and MBA in Sustainability Management. Each programme runs across four semesters over two years.

XIM University MBA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. The degree must be from a recognised university with at least three years of study. Final-year students awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

A minimum score of 50 percent in the qualifying degree is generally required. Candidates must also appear in a valid entrance test. This can be XGMT or any of the accepted national-level tests.

Admission is based on a multi-stage selection process. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their entrance test score. Shortlisted candidates are then called for further rounds.

The next stages include a Written Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview (PI). Weightage is also given to academic record and work experience. The final merit list is prepared using a composite score.
