Remarks

The trichy college is affiliated to the Anna University. I did my graduation from the college. In short, the college is a disaster. From academics to extracurricular activities it is poor. Standard of teaching is bad.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is fine, but lacked the practical teaching. The notes provided by the seniors were helpful.

Placement Experience

There is no campus placements. Even the toppers of our batch are unemployed. You have to look for a job on your own

Fee Structure And Facilities

First year fee is 60K, and for the rest of the course it is 50k per year. The fee was okay, especially since they don’t even provide basic facilities in the college. The infrastructure is also bad in the college

Campus Life

The infrastructure is bad. All the Labs are good, the library is also spacious. But the rest of the infrastructure is in pretty bad shape. Washrooms are not in good shape, fans are not functional, overall the maintenance is poor.

Admission

The admission is through the common counselling conducted by the Anna University. The University will release a merit list for the college allotment. The merit list is prepared on the basis of TNEA scores and class 12 marks

No one speaks good English. The faculty members lack experience. Only a few staff members are aware about what they are doing. Rest are just recent passouts.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.
