Remarks
Great college overall, very welcoming place for all students, home away from home, you get to learn a lot and grow as well. Lots of experience that helps you in the future. All these small lessons really shape you into a great person
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty intensive. There are three theory exams in a semester ie two continuous assessments of 50 marks each and then one Final assessment of 100 marks. The semester will also include multiple digital assignments and quizzes along with project reviews and lab assessments.
Placement Experience
I’m still in my second year so I can’t say much about experience and stipend. However, my college does have very good placements and offers internships for very good companies. There are plenty of options.
College Events
Gravitas is an annual technical fest and goes on for three days Riviera is the annual cultural fest that goes on for about 4 days They also celebrate Diwali, Holi, Onam, etc. There are various clubs and chapters
Fee Structure And Facilities
They offer different criteria For star students education is free, only have to pay for hostel and food accommodations. For NRIs it’s pretty expensive, their only criteria are 12th percentage. They have to pay at least 5 times the fee of a norma student.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am still in my second-year third semester so I’m not aware of any good scholarships or loan facilities offered by my college. However, I know some seniors who have availed a pretty good scholarship and internships
Campus Life
Lots of opportunities here, all kinds of sports available like basketball, football, volleyball, tennis, hockey, swimming, etc Training is provided for everything so the student can choose to participate in the desired activity.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel accommodations are decent, although the room you are allotted depends on merit, so you have to maintain a good CGPA to get the room of your choice The food here is mostly south Indian which is fine to adjust to at the initial stages but later on gets quite annoying.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes very helpful Sometimes our faculty conducts sessions with the alumni as special guests. They talk about the college experience and pass on their valuable lessons to us It is very helpful and helps broaden our horizons
Admission
Gave an entrance exam, paid the required admission fee and waited for my name to come in a batch list. Got my seat confirmation and rank and then attended the orientation program, was eligible to choose my desired field of study.
Faculty
Well experienced and well educated. The professors here are extremely qualified and have immense knowledge about their field of teaching, most of the professors are understanding and helpful. They provide you guidance and support throughout
