My college

It is a general CSE curriculum and the exam structure has two Continuous assessment tests and one final assessment test. The continuous assessment tests are for 50 marks each while the final assessment tests are for 100 marks and there are assignments that add up to the same to calculate the final grade.

There are good opportunities, I have less idea about it as I'm a fresher. I heard my seniors got placed in good companies with their choice as a super dream offer. They get good salary packages too, maybe in my time, the condition can get better.

There's a technical fest called technovit which is in September. And there is a cultural extravaganza called vibrance which is in February every year. Apart from this, seniors can go to the Vellore campus for gravitas.

Kinda expensive if your rank is bad. There are different categories of fees depending on the rank you score, it starts from 2LPA up to 5LPA and the hostel fees are also fairly high, so have to think about finance before entering here.

There are all kinds of sports equipment available on the campus you can play any sport where you want in your free time so that's not an issue. Labs are quite good and have the necessary materials you need, all the essentials are present. There are workshops all time to keep you engaged.

The hostel is good, there are a few ups and downs tho, the overall experience is good and decent. Initially, I wasn't getting used to the food of the hostel and falling sick often but I can manage myself now. There are laundry services which reduce the need for washing your clothes by yourself.

Yes, the seniors are helpful in academics as well as the cultural part, they bring us into a lot of the activities of the college by marketing and explaining what the workshop or the event is about. They even sell their books at the beginning of the year for the freshers.

Entrance exam rank and counseling based on the rank. Based on the rank, one can choose the desired branch whichever is available on the respective campus. If I score a good rank, I can choose any of the branches from the choice, if my rank is bad, I get to choose from the remaining.

There are good faculty who can clarify the doubts at any point of time, even the night before the exam we can reach up to them through a phone call to reteach any of the subtopics. Everyone is friendly enough.
