Studies are good in the College. But placement is not so good. As I can say, it is average in technical field. But in management field the placement in quiet good. Though the report is of the time when I used to study there. Right now the situation can be different.

There is eight semesters in this course of four years. Civil engineering is a good course that has good opportunity to get a job in the field of construction. Generally course is started in the month of July of August in almost every engineering college in West Bengal. Odd semesters are carried out in the month of November and December. Even semesters are carried out in the month of May or June. At the end of four years DGPA is calculated taking YGPA of each four years.

Placement is average. When I was a student there was no internship provided by the college. Instead, the college administration makes arrangements for a fifteen days or one month training for the students. For this training no stipend is given to the students.

Events are celebrated in the college very well. Starting from Netaji jayanti in January to Christmas in the month of December, every special day is celebrated. Among these, there are fresher's welcoming ceremony, cultural festivals and sports meet. All these are celebrated in a grand manner.

Fee structure is feasible for middle to higher income group people. It's quiet expensive for the lower income group people. At the time when I passed out of the college, then the overall fee as given by me was around 3.30 lakh in 4 years.

I personally was not offered any type of scholarship or loan from the college. But I filled the form of the other scholarship providers in our state. Later I was selected to get the scholarship, and I availed that.

Extracurricular activities are available in the college campus. There are Gym, cricket ground, basketball ground, badminton court, tennis court. Laboratories for practical purposes are also available. Sports meet is arranged every year for the students by the college administration.

No, I didn't opt for Hostel facility. But as a student I know we'll about the hostel facilities. Hostel facilities are available for the students who are not day scholars. Rooms in the hostel are good in condition. Also the food in the canteen is good and hygienic.

Senior students are helpful. When I was a junior, my senior used to help us in every way that could be possible for them. I used to take notes from my seniors. They were like our 2nd teacher. They were very helpful. We used to play with them. They helped us while playing also.

I got the admission in the college through my rank of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2011. My rank was about 18000. I appeared in the counselling process. There I was given option to choose 5 or 6 colleges based on my rank. I selected this one.

All the faculty members of the college are good and they hold helping attitude towards every student. If any student finds any difficulty in any field regarding studies, the faculty members always help them to sort their problems out.
