Remarks
Most of the faculty are not student freindly and even the food is a big issue in our college. Sometimes we can also find small insects in the food and we can seldom find snakes in our campus. Faculty teaching won't be good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are good but few of them are outdated. Most of them are related to hardware and few of them are on software and few of them are on current industrial topics(IoT, ML, Instrumentation,Optimisation techniques.etc) While coming to exam structure we have continuous evaluation scheme. First 10 marks for test or an assignment or a project next 30 marks for mid , 10 marks for test or project and 50 marks for end exam.
Placement Experience
We have a good TnP association blfor placements and interns. We have many companies coming to hire students but most of them are of software. Very few companies come for hardware profiles. The average CTC would be around 13L.
College Events
There are two main fests celebrated in my college one is Technozion which is a technical fest celebrated in winter and the other is SpringSpree which is celebrated in Spree. Apart from these we have weekly events like dance, singing, workshops Makethons, Guests lectures, blood donation camps. and we have about 30+ clubs in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Of course it's expensive it's 62.5k per semester(Only tuition fees) and for hostel it's about 15k per semester and about 16k for mess through out the year. For SC/ST people and people below 1L income have no tuition fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provides Scholarship for top 30 merit students that is no tution fee. It also offers study loan to the students.Apart from merit scholarship there are few small competitions where we can get cash prices.
Campus Life
Our campus has a 400m stadium, and a big ground and many equipments with many competitions held every sem and we also have inter NIT Competitions. We have good lab facility, good enough for small research purposes.we also have an innovation and incubation center which acts as a support for different ideas and startups.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I have Opted for Hostel. Our campus has a good hostel infrastructure but 'OK' in terms of maintenance. We have 2 gyms Canteens inside the hostel and few TV rooms and study rooms and 1 or 2 people per room with common bathrooms. The rooms are spacious for single person but little conjusted for 2, but the veltilation is good and we have a good scenary from our hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors and alumni help us and suggest us a lot in different aspects such as projects, placements, recommendations and funds for further studies and ragging uas decreased a lot past 6 years in my campus.
Admission
To get admission into my college we need to write JEE Mains exam and score decent marks and go through the JoSAA counselling rounds by applying for the college.The ranks would be in the range 5k rank in general category and 2k - 3k OBC rank.
Faculty
Faculty have good knowledge and research experience but they are not good at teaching part (not all of them). Most of their areas of interest are ML, signal processing, VLSI, and biomedical sensors. Few of them behave friendly with students but most of them doesn't think on the student perspective. They want most of the topics to be read by us instead of they teach us.
