No its a good place to study you will learn to live your life apart from the education I had a very good experience in the college

Entrance Preview

IIT JEE (don't clear), BIT SAT, VIT, SRM, Vit was good got 3000 ranks got into computer science at Vellore It has 2 branches VIT is the main branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was really good, Much better when compared to other colleges. Many projects good faculty 100% placement, Good reputation helps if one needs to pursue higher education like MS or MBA.

Internships Opportunities

It was good to have to do at some company and the stipend depends on the company usually 10, 000 to 15, 000 is offered. It can be done after the 2nd year or third year.

Placement Experience

100 percent placement reveals packages as it is against rules but people are paid decently and much more when compared to other colleges.

College Events

2 events happen every year Gravitas and Riviera, Gravitas is a technical event and riviera is fun even people from all across India come to participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It costs 1, 50, 000 per annum including mess, hostel and fee so it's quite reasonable and decent in terms of the standard maintained there and depends on we opt for AC/NON AC and wt kind of food we prefer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Top 100 get a full scholarship but the rest can get loans very easily not a problem at all so even middle-class people can join this esteemed university.

Campus Life

All are good extracurricular are good, labs are good, sports are good, competitions such as robotics, debates are good so don't have to worry about anything just go for it.

Hostel Facilities

Very good I am missing mess food now can opt for the food we want it made neatly and healthily so don't have to worry abt quality.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Everything is good we get VIT Gmail via which we can stay connected its good university joining there will lead ur life and extracurricular are good, labs are good, sports are good, competitions such as robotics, debates are good.

Exam Structure

It depends on how many credits we take sometimes it can be hectic should opt according to our capacity.

Faculty

They were good not all the few were pathetic but as we have a choice to select faculty we can opt for nice faculty Anyways need to put efforts from our side much better than the faculty of other colleges.

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
