Remarks
I don't comment any negative for my Alma Mater. I have remember Banaras Hindu University as part of my life. One can not forget the memories made with friends in college. Varanasi as a city have affected me lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course are disigned as per UGC guidelines and suitable for competetion available in current scenario, if you go through the syllabus of any graduation you can qualify any related exam. In my opinion after graduation people start for preparing for competetion.
Placement Experience
Placement is an important factor that effected the university in present time. As compared with IIT BHU other Dept. and Institute have not as reputatation in placements. Where average placement of IIT BHU is very higher than others.
College Events
In the time of beggining of all the courses induction programmes are held , then after our seniors gave the fresher party. As a student we can participates all the fest organised by different dept. Inyer faculty tournaments for sports and NCC, NSS are most recongible.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Other than special courses, regular course are very feasible. I have competed my graduation on total fees of less than 3000. This is only academics expense as considered as fees. Hostel charges also very low as compared with another university.
Fees and Financial Aid
Govt. scholarship are available for all the student both central govt. and state govt. Students belongs to backward classes are exempted from the academic fees as well as hostel charges. There various schemes are provided from University to help the economically weaker student. One of the program ,I remember named as 'EARN WHILE LEARN'.
Campus Life
There adequate facilities available for sport and CCA. In every quarter of the year we have entra faculty tournaments for sport like cricket, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, tennis, badmitton winner of the same will participate in inter faculty competetion.
Hostel Facilities
In my gradution, I had not opted for hostel due to newness in the that time after completing three years in the campus, I could not stop myself for opting hostel. Raja Ram Mohan Roy hostel, Room No. 113 have an important role in my life and career.
Alumni/Alumna
Almuni network for the various courses are not as active as IIT BHU and IMS BHU have. I dont know any alumni of my gradution - BA Hons. During my masters I got to know the importance of alumni network, and my master course MPMIR have alumni network and we have profited by inviting them for professional lectures and learn a lot from them by sharing their experience on corporate as well as personal lifes.
Admission
After applying Online form and qualified entrance test, Then counselling done, choice of subjects depends upon the score of entrance test, higher you score in entrance test more desired subject will be on your bucket.
Faculty
Most of the professors are very impressive and completed their syllabus within given time. They suggested the books of various authors for understanding of the veiws. By reading those books one can easily known the subject and topic.
