Remarks

All the Faculty members are friendly to students.They always stand still with students in their study.Way of teaching is also impressible in classroom such that a poor student can understand easily.But now a days smart classes are being needed much more.Some advance technology should be implemented in session.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum was semester pattern.In Every Semester we hava 5 Theory & 5 Practical Papers.Semester is of 70 Marks and A Mid Semester of 20 & another 10 is based on our Assignments.Every Exam Was conducted in very Fair and strict Manner.

Placement Experience

Placement Scenario of or college is very good.Almost 70-80% students get placed at the end of they courses.In Every Many MNC, National, State Requiters are coming for Requirements.Also Our Instituition provide Stipend and Opportunities to do internship in Summer & Winter Holidays.

College Events

Mainly There are 4 fest are celebrated in our college.1st Annual Sports, 2nd Techno Management Fest- Samavesh, Annual Cultural Fest-Vassuant,Branch Fest- Sthapna.And many other Tech seminar & Branch seminar Are Done Regularly.Most Of The Regional Festival like holi & Diwali We celebrated Together.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure divided into Three Group TFW,NTWF,SSC & Their Fess per Ann are 30000,40000,& 70000 respectively.No extra fees required through out the Year.Hostel Fees are quite affordable i.e. 28000 per Ann including boarding and fooding.All Hostelite are playing 4600 per semester as corpus fund still today don't know it's main abjective & Benefits.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various kinds of Scholarship given by college to meritorious and Poor Students.There is a special Scholarship Cell is at college. It Verifies the all the documents of applicants properly and rewarded to deserved ones.

Campus Life

There are much more Scope For the Extra curricular activities in our instituition. Various number of club are threre . Such as music, dance, Robotics, drama,quiz,yoga, sports etc. There is big Equipped Gymnasium is in our college campus. There is a idea inovission club which inspires students for invention.This Club is funded are supported by ISRO.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Infrastructure was very gooy yet some advance facility should to be Provided.Food Is Fine. Environment Should be More Clean if it Regularly Maintained.Hostel Rooms are so good with Sufficient Furniture & Electric Devices. Overally hostel facility is Ok ok.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

There is a Alumni Association in our college Which Helps Students very much. Some Alumni came to college and interact with Student and guided them.Their Advice were Worthy.This Association also provide various number of Scholarship to students. The Senior Junior bonding is very Strong.All the Senior are Very Helpful & Friendly.Also Accomplished in our Studies.Lot of Management skills are being taught by seniors during fests and Events.

Admission

First I appear the OJEE entrance & Then secure state rank under 100 .Then I choice some state government engineering college where VSSUT was first in serial.Then I got a Temporary Allotment From college after Registration I got permanent allotment den came to college with all reqy documents and my admission was done & dusted

All the Faculty Member are Highly Qualified.They Got Their Bachelor degree & Master Degree From esteemed IITs & NITs.They are also very student friendly in Nature.Their Dedication Towards the instituition is upto mark.

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

My college is best

Likes

Things I like is to good faculty, garden.
VSSUT provides the best amenities and bathrooms.
Excluding hostel & other facilities are like good.

Dislikes

The water quality is not good at all from mess side.
The drainage system is not maintained well.
The surroundings are not clean and the guarda are strict.

Placement Experience:

Some say that the celllege has better placements, but that the salary is not very lucrative. Infosys, Tata Steel, IBM, Wipro, Cisco Systems, Larsen and Cognizant, Maruti Suzuki, Adani Group. My plans are to go to better iim for mba

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Buckle up Journey in Vssut

I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000. As Cet is not very good for its core branches, so I preferred Vssut over it. To get technical branches in cet bhubaneswar your rank should be under 50000 in Jee mains. The admission process is through the OJEE COUNSELLING. It is the counselling only for the students of odisha and anyone out of Odisha appearing the OJEE examination. VSSUT as seen by 2nd years

I applied for outr Bhubaneswar and vssut burla. I was getting electrical branches in both the colleges. But in outr there are not enough hostels for student neither the campus is that much attracting. O the other hand vssut have total 11 hostel and can accommodate every student studying and the campus is also somewhat good. But for csit branches there are not enough facilities in vssut To get admission here you have to get a rank in jee main exam and have to go through ojee counselling. To get to cse branch your all India rank must be within 1lakhs and for electrical branch its about 1.5lakhs and for lower branches production rank does not matter that must there are seats pending vacant you can get them via spot counselling...Read More
