Remarks

A great place to study and experience. Amity will always be hectic as the length of lectures is too much. But it's always an up when we see the leisure time we get to study in library or have fun. Overall a balanced University.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is really good. All the subjects included in the curriculum are from the perspective of national level entrance exams. Examinations are really strict. Question paper is structured to get a glimpse of practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge.

Placement Experience

4

Placement opportunities are good. The efforts made by college for placing every student are amazing. In Biotechnology, the companies that comes for placements are mostly for sales and marketing, R&D, and pharmaceutical.

College Events

3

Sangathan is the annual sports meet celebrated in October. And annual fest is a major event of Amity celebrated in February. Events are huge and attracts huge media attention. Celebrities are invited frequently.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive fee structure. For M.Sc. it goes around 4 lacs for the entire course. For other courses as well, it's pretty expensive as compared to other private and government colleges. This remains an issue.

Fees and Financial Aid

50% scholarship offered to meritorious students every year. This results in reimbursement of 1 semester fee. Apart from this, 25% criteria is also available. Scholarship entirely depends on marks class 10th onwards.

Campus Life

5

Good laboratories, good infrastructure, amazing classrooms, air conditioned corridors and classrooms. Seperate seminar halls and conference rooms. Sports activities are equally good. Sangathan helps in overall nurturing.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, good alumni network which helps in placements and discussion sessions. I remember a few alumni came to meet us and talk to us right before placements started. They are good source of knowledge and ideas.

Admission

I appeared for the interview and written English test. Interview lasted for around 20 minutes. Questions asked were average and requires subject based knowledge. Start by introducing yourself and interactively participate in the interview. My interview resulted in a healthy discussion about my research interest which was really great. If the interview is good then it's easy to get the admission.

Faculty

4.5

Well educated and experienced faculty. Really admired all the faculties. It's always an option to choose subjects and join a research lab of desired faculty. High end research also benefits student in the long run.

Admission:

By the merit selection and interview, college selects the students. I like the most important thing of this college study environment, hard-working teacher and their dedication to the students. When I come to this college and I was selected on the basis of merit and interview, I feel that I selected a good College for my study.

Admission:

After completing my 12th std studies, I filled out Amity’s application form for my course, the minimum eligibility for which is a minimum of 60% in class 12th PCM/PCB. It is India’s first institute to offer a degree in nanotechnology which made it an ideal choice. Amity has its own selection procedure under which I gave an English Language Test followed by a personal interview. I came to know about my admission status through the Admission Microsite of the college.
