Placement Experience :

From the pre-final semester, students are eligible to fill the campus placements and try their best to get the placement. More than 100 of companies came every year from different fields and take students some of them like Amazon, Google, TCS, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. Around 10 to 30 lakh are the highest package offered by companies for the students. Almost 90 percent of students get placed in the placement every year.

Remarks :

college is good with a great 75 acres of campus and has many facilities providing all the cafeteria, gaming hub, social clubs, and sports complex, with medical facilities 24x7 and many food trucks are also there. The admission process takes an aptitude test after that you have to go through an interview with the course faculty. I prefer this college because you can enjoy the college life here which every student ever dreams of.

Placement Experience :

Placement is quite average even after graduation you don't assume to be placed at a higher salary. But there is good no of companies that come to campus it totally depends on you. You want the respective profile or not. Companies- byjus, Manjil group limited and many more. Around 90 offers were made. Student placed - 80. Plans after undergraduate- I will say just look for post-graduation it will enhance your knowledge and will open up the closed doors.

Remarks :

Selecting your undergraduate course is a difficult task. In Amity you just need a decent mark in your 12 to let's say around 60-70 and you are admitted in the course the best thing is you don't have a burden of the entrance. A chit-chat type of interview that's all. Coming to college, well if you consider for graduation I will say a decent pick. You can go for it. Admission process starts just after the results are out for your 12th. You can fill the admission form and start your journey. Classes generally begin in July or being specific 2 weeks of July. You can go for deep search over google as I did.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for placement after their 6th semester. Big companies like Ranbaxy, Wipro etc come for placement purposes but for that, you'll have to score great marks. Most of the students do get placements.

Remarks :

Great Infrastructure. Admission procedure is very simple. First, you have to register for an entrance test and if you qualify. Then they'll call you for registration and etc. I prefer this college over others because teachers are very cooperative and always ready to help you. All labs do have all the necessary equipment. It's my 4th semester and I've faced no issues till now.

Placement Experience :

Placements are 100% as I have heard from my seniors, Highest paid is I guess 18 lakhs package and the minimum are somewhere like 6lkhs. After getting a degree I will opt for campus placement and get into a good company.

Remarks :

The good aspect is they provide 100% college placement. The admission process is fine they have a personal interview round for those who got less than 80% in 12th standard. This college has an international business course that's why I pursued this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty is amazing and full of learned and experienced teachers. Most of the teachers are very good and they also guide the students not only for the exams but also for the career that one can choose. There aren’t many teachers for the LLB course but we get different teachers for different subjects each semester. Most teachers have done a PhD. Or were advocates or did their LLM from renowned institutions in India. The teaching method is also nice. We have Theory along with PSDA in most of the Subjects, which helps us to acquire practical knowledge outside the classroom. The exams as well as the result are held and given timely. With proper studies, one can easily ace the examination.

Remarks :

It is one of the best colleges for LLB after DU and it has lots of facilities. The main attraction was the library and also the feedback I got from the faculty. The faculty is very nice and knows how to impart knowledge and guide the students in a true sense. The classes are held regularly. The only problem being that the college is a little strict about attendance and the minimum attendance required is 75% in each subject. Rest the college is amazing and provides various opportunities for students to grow. There are various legal as well as cultural societies that a student can be part of. The law department also organizes moot courts, seminars, and workshops that are actually quite helpful. The campus is huge and everything one needs is within the campus. The admission process is simple. One has to clear the test and then the interview to get in.

Ques. Is it true that Amity University is more about showing off and having a good time with friends than studying?

● Top Answer By Shivangi Srivastava on 17 May 21

Ans. There should be a balance between recreation and studies. By doing so, you can enjoy a good time with friends and study hard equally at the same time. Here are some of the facts about Amity University that might answer your question. The classes run from morning 9 am to evening 5:30 from Monday to Friday. The institute is very serious about attendance. 75% attendance is compulsory. If you have bunked more than 4 classes then you will fail in that subject by a computed automated system. There will be many guest lectures and events happening in the campus. You will have immense opportunities to grow. There is a dedicated 24-hour incubator for entrepreneurship. Many companies started from there and many are in the process. Students will find some amazing people there. There is a huge student crowd. Amazing events take place. International artists, as well as local bands, participate in the fests. There are many abroad programs available. You will find various kinds of people. It depends completely on you as what you choose to be and with whom.Read more

Ques. Why do colleges like Lovely Professional University, Sharda University, and Amity University advertise on TV? Do these universities have any standing or credibility?

● Top Answer By Deepika Kunwar on 15 May 21

Ans. No, these universities almost have zero credibility. You have to realize the fact that the main goal of these big universities is to make money.  I have heard a lot of reviews from my friends who studied at these universities. Following are lesser-known facts about these universities: During the admission, you will be told about the institute and will be assured about top-class facilities including AC in your classrooms. When you get allured in, you will face reality. Your expectations will be barely met.  Most of the teaching faculties are newly appointed with most of them having no experience in teaching at all. Most of them will vanish after that semester and again, new faculties are appointed.  Attendance criteria is very strict and teachers' way to control students. Even if you are five minutes late to the class, talking in class, or unable to answer a question in class, you are marked absent.  There is no particular format for allotting the internal assessment or Semester end exam marks. If teachers are not that fond of you, you are definitely going to have a tough time here. Making students reappear in their exams is a new scheme of making money for these institutes. Whenever the results are out, around 80% of the class is going to fail in one or more papers. To reappear for one paper, you have to pay 5-8K. Fee demand is very high and ROI is very low, due to which the number of students drop out every year.  You will be judged in every aspect, based on what you are wearing, that too if you are a girl. You will be sent back to hostels. Overall it's a no-brainer to avoid attending these institutes. Paying so much when you are getting so little in return, makes literally no sense at all. So think twice before opting for any of these institutes.Read more

Ques. Which college is better for an MBA, BIMTECH, or Amity?

● Top Answer By Shobhna Chaturvedi on 11 May 21

Ans. Well, many of my friends recommend going for BIMTECH. But honestly, none of these two are great options for an MBA.  Comparison: At Amity you will find a beautiful campus and the management degree is better than the Engineering degree offered through it is a school of engineering in terms of academics and discipline. But in general, the management degree is quite average. You will get placement with an average package of 5–6 LPA which is below average for an MBA graduate. Yes, some 4–5 students manage to get a package of above 10 LPA.  BIMTECH has a better placement record, comparably. On average, you can expect to receive an average package of around 6–8 lakhs per annum. If you are lucky enough and have a good academic record, you can bag placement packages of around 9–10 LPA.  Talking about the overall exposure, Both Amity and BIMTECH have Good exposure, not as good as IIMs/XLRI or NMIMS/SP-Jain. You will find both of them have a good corporate connect where you get to attend a lot of conferences and workshops. Both colleges help you to find summer placements although, most of these placements don’t have much substance.  Parameters BIMTECH Amity University Average CTC INR 8.13 LPA INR 14 LPA Placement Average  96.59% 93%  Tuition Fee  12 lakhs  6.80 lakhs  If you have no other better option and you don’t want to repeat another year to prepare for CAT, only then go to these colleges.  Otherwise, Consider repeating another year and Aim for colleges like NMIMS (Mumbai), Symbiosis Pune, or XIM Bhubneshwar. These colleges are Good and the placements lie between 10–15 LPA, which is decent enough. You can even get into new IIMs with a bit of effort, if not the old ones.Read more
