Remarks

Keep the greenery intact keep the balance of freedom all the time.

Entrance Preview

There was a separate entrance exam during my time but that is removed now. The cutoff calculation nowadays is (maths/2)+(physics/4)+(chemistry/4). A minimum cutoff of 285 can hope to get into GCT, CBE.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The college follows autonomous curriculum and plays bad with setting up question papers during my 3rd semester, 90% of us failed in maths. They kept a supplementary exam where many of us passed. It still somewhat counted as an arrears though faculty you can find both types friendly, approachable, highly skilled ones and the total opposite.

Placement Experience

4.5

Tcs and cts took most of the guys in my batch 60% only around 5% of the folks remained not placed.

College Events

4

Oracle is the technical symposium jointly hosted by instrumentation and electrical departments. It is highly streamlined and gets participation from many reputed colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostel you will find it hard at first but soon grow to love it. It is sharing only and there are plenty rooms available.Fees you cannot find rooms this cheap anywhere else note that the college itself is in a prime location mess food great for a hostel mess but you have plenty of options outside as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a caste scholarship but i don't know about anything lately.

Campus Life

3

This is generally 50/50 in departments like ECE, EEE, CS & IT. the count of girls will be less in other departments.Diversity is very good since this is a government institution and the seats are purely on a merit basis (plus caste quota) not much in terms of extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions etc.,

Alumni/Alumna

Nothing to brag about. but the college is open to anyone, so you don't have to formally have a alumni network. You can pretty much go there anytime, visit hostels, talk to juniors or staff, extend guidance what not!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
