Remarks
The college is located inside the main city,so we have a lot of places to go around the college. But college doesn't create much awareness about sports activities. The campus is very large and good,with very good food items available in canteen at very fare prices.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum focuses mainly on academics,it also has lot of cultural activities,but sports activities are a bit rare. There are 2 internal exams,and one session ending exam. The average of the 2 internal exams is taken and combined with the score of session ending exam to calculate the total.
Placement Experience
In Bangalore,this college is ranked in one of the top colleges with respect to placements. The highest package till now is of 50 lakhs. The college provides internships starting from third year,but as I am in first year,I haven't done any internships.
College Events
This college has one of the greatest cultural fest in the state. It celebrates each and every festival , sports events like athletics and field events are also conducted. Apart from these there are many events which go on throughout the course like clubs for entrepreneurship,dance,music,theatre, adventure,etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As this is a private institute,the fee structure is obviously more than the government aided colleges ,but still it's feasible if you get admission through the entrance test. But if you didn't get admission through the merit list,and take seat through management then it's expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
After every semester those who scored good in exams, get a scholarship for the next semester. Those whose parents are serving in the defense forces have a lot of scholarships, for example, CET scholarship.
Campus Life
Labs are very well maintained,there are apparatus for each individual,we don't have to do the experiment in groups,each person has to do it individually. Extra curricular activities like dance,singing,adventure activities,theatrics,etc keeps happening all the time. Sports activities are also there but not very often(except basketball)
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very helpful,all the fourth year students have initiated different club activities,so we have a large variety of clubs to join and learn. And the seniors are there to help us with anything from solving a question to the best food to buy in canteen.
Admission
There are 120 seats in CSE branch,I wrote the entrance exam called KCET, and anyone with rank less than 1000 has a very good chance of getting the seat. For admission all documents verification happens and after that it's done, you get the seat.
Faculty
Faculty are well versed in their respective fields,they welcome all kinds of doubts. They give proper notes and also tell us which books to refer. They explain it as many times a student asks,they take doubts even after the class also.
