Entrance Preview

Anna university councelling (general). I get 113.34 cut off in 12th public examination at 2011. Ece department is one of best dept in sriram college. I want to become communication engineer in millitry defence.

Internships Opportunities

I took internship from DRDO, AVADI chennai with help of my college. They support students in all academic sides and placement oriented trainings. Experience Its a 1 month internship programg.

Placement Experience

Every year they placed 89% of student in well reputed mnc companies. TCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, CTS, VI Eletronics, QMAX SYSTEMS, INDUS TECH, YEPME, ASKME.COM are the companies which tie up with our college. Job opportunities are huge for CSE and it depts.

College Events

Symposiums, sports ,farewell, culturals, many workshops conducting every year. Department based festivals are also conducted.

Fees and Financial Aid

Minority scholarship Community scholorship St/sc scholarship are given. Students who scored more than 90% are eligible for one of the scholarship.

Campus Life

Co-ed college so you have so more fun. Ragging is not in our college,labs are full equipped, workshops and technical competition are conducted every semester.International conference in microcontroller and processor are conducted.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

I opted due to mode of transport, I. e, train. In and around Chennai, colleges loot money in the name of transport and food. This college doesn't meet this criteria. It is just like government college, which is under court judge control due to management problem. Joined the college by getting admitted letter and paid fees. Fees as per government mandated.
