I would describe my college as a great place it stands by its motto ( A place to learn a chance to grow) it helps students achieve their dreams in a very fun and enjoyable way the college life is at par as compared to the other colleges.

The exam is on the basis of the NCERT syllabus of PCM/B covered in 11th and 12th class also English and aptitude portion is also there in the examination. The exam structure is multiple choice questions with no negative marking.

Placements and job opportunities are quite decent. VIT bags the record for 100% placement. The packages are divided into core, dream, and super dream and are decided based on various factors such as GPA, eligibility test(conducted by the company themselves). There are various rounds for the placement starting from the basic coding rounds. The students clearing all the rounds is eligible for the job/internship in the respective company. Yes, the college provides internship opportunities. The experience is very great and the stipend ranges dro 40k-70k.

There are 2 main events organized in VIT University viz riviera and gravitas. Gravitas is India's 2nd most famous event. Various students from several other colleges come to compete in the various technical rounds. While on the other hand riviera also bags the position in the top cultural fests conducted in the country. During the riviera, various artists from Bollywood are also called for eg. Ayushmaan Khurana, Amit Trivedi, etc. Come and give their performances.

The fee structure of VIT depends on the rank obtained in the VITEEE Examination. Students with good ranks get admission in the starting categories which are not that expensive(approximately 1.5 to 2 lakhs per annum) while the students with ranks in the range of 40k get admission in as high as category 5 where the fees are quite expensive(5-6 lakhs per annum).

Yes VIT offers shri rajeshwari Vishvanathan loan to the poor students. This loan helps the students with a low annual income that are not able to pay for the engineering fees due to their current conditions. This scholarship requires the student to perform exceptionally well in the examinations and also requires the student to maintain a certain minimum attendance.

Yes, the extracurricular activities conducted in the university are quite decent and students actively participate in these activities and learn various skills such as teamwork patience dedication, etc.

The hostel infrastructure is very good. I would always recommend VIT hostels to the students they provide decent food and living conditions along with proper security to the students. Various NRI students also live in the hostels and all the students live with peace and happiness. Various events like movie night etc. Are also conducted by the hostel administration.

Yes, the alumni network and the senior students are very helpful in VIT they always help in any kind of problems faced during college life they help in various kinds of projects help make a perfect timetable by the means of FFCS.

I got admission in the BTech IT course of VIT University Vellore campus through VITEEE Exam conducted in 2017. It is a flexible computer-based examination where you can choose your exam date and slot timings. Admission is done solely on the rank obtained in this examination. The counseling process is held at may end where you select your desired course and branch.

The faculty of this college is well experienced with doctorate(Ph.D.) degree and have a good knowledge and expertise in heir respective fields and they encourage students to male projects and help them during it to get them hands-on knowledge about various domains of technology.
