Remarks
The college is great, overall, just the population of Btech students is a little over the line. The faculties as well as the facilities are exciting and tempting. Each day makes us learn something new which will be of great use in our professional life. Also, the large and high-end infrastructure makes us feel gay and happy.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is great. It thoroughly helps us become an expert in CSS. The exams are held as Continuous assessment tests(1 and 2), each of 50 marks, and a final assessment test of 100 marks along with quizzes and digital assignments as per the faculty
Placement Experience
Placements take place all year-round. The job opportunities are great and a large number of hackathons and marathons make our CV worthy of being selected in placements. No, my college didn't provide an internship.
College Events
There are two major events, graVITas, a technical event, and Rivera, a cultural one. graVITas helps the students explore their creativity and a large number of activities and games make us learn new things every day. It is a 3-day event with over 150 activities Rivera invites major celebrities to our college and the students show off their dance moves and their talents on a university level stage
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible as it is divided up into the ranks attained by us in the entrance exam. The good ranks (<1000) pay around 8 lacs for their degree while higher ranks have to pay more, in the range of 20-40 lacs depending upon the rank
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides financial aid to students belonging to economically weaker sections of the society and gives as much as a 50% waiver to students performing well in their studies. Also, the research and journals published by students make them get various waivers
Campus Life
Lab, as well as all the grounds, are properly maintained and they are serviced on a regular basis. We've multiple hardware labs, around 100, ranging from 3d printers to nanotechnology machines as well as >40 computer science labs
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni are great and the seniors are very helpful and supportive of us. They help us with even the little things one might be hesitant to ask. They also teach us about the marking schemes and recommend which faculties should we take in the next semester
Admission
After giving VITEEE, I was messaged the time and venue for counseling. I reached the place and waited for my turn. After about 4 hours, I was called and was shown the seats available for all the courses. After choosing my stream, I chose my preferred hostel and mess and after giving the payments by DD, I received my provisional admission letter
Faculty
The college has a large number of expert faculties in each subject, most of them multilingual. The response submitted by the students, anonymously, for the faculty after the semester also helps the faculty to improve and makes them reliable.
