A good college in budget

Such as every other college in the world. This college too has some good as well bad things, but there is a lot to explore and learn. My personal opinion is positive for this university. Absence of student politics turns out to be a great advantage in terms of discipline.

Curriculum has been framed keeping in mind student's scope for future litigation or judiciary, the subjects right from 1st year to finnal year are comprehensively set to provide a good expo to students. Exams are held on semester basis.

Placement drive takes place for the students of 10 th sem and 6th sem of hons and 3 years courses, although the college doesn't provides any paid or unpaid internships, but being located at a city which holds a high court, internships are cake walk to find.

3 major events take place in feild of cultural activity. Teachers day, sports fest known as zest and annual function known as sanskriti surabhi. While the moot court association also helds one inter sem and one inter collegiate moot court competition. Seminars and workshops are also very common at lucknow university.

Not expensive as national law universities but also not cheap as central universities. For hons course it is 24000 per semester without hostel, and 36000 for hostel. Fee for llm and llb 3 years course is nominal.

There are no scholarships or loan facility avilable at the university, however poor students can get admissions in ews categories. Also, students can apply for scholarship programs distributed by up government.

For the courses like BA , BSC, AND B.COM the old campus holds two sport grounds as well as physical education department. But if you are wishing to peruse law or managment then forget about sports. We dont even have well maintained ground.

Seniors are as helpful as family. U can ask for help when ever needed for notes, clases or anyother help. While the alumni network helps a lot in getting placements and internships. lucknow university holds the glory of lot of golden alumnus like ex president dr. Shankar dayal sharma.

By clearing the enterance exam. Then participating in the counciling. Once you get a rank good enough to make it in the top 120 , you will be called for counciling. Admissions are based on reservations as per govt. rule.

Faculty is good learned and well determined (except few), all the professors are easy to contact and they are always ready to solve student's problems. Although some of the staff memebers promote unwanted things like castism etc, but overall, faculty is helpful and great.
