Remarks

VIT has a very competitive environment which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. Competition enables students to make themselves strive further. The course registration process which is done for each semester is nerve breaking as it follows first come first serve approach.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very dynamic and deals with practical as well as the base foundation in theory. Regarding the exam structure, we have 2 CAT( Cumulative assessment test) of 50 marks and 1 FAT(final assessment test) of 100 marks at the end of semester with whole syllabus cobered in the course.

Placement Experience

5

VIT prides itself on its placement as it has placement records all over India. A huge number of companies come to VIT for hiring student with packages hoing over 50 lakhs. More than 90% of the students are placed. VIT also provides internship via its incubation cell or company coming to hire students. The stripend mainly depends upon the work and the company.

College Events

4

VIT has 2 main events and fest that are celebrated annually. The first one is graVITas which is a tech fest and features many hackathons, web conferences, expert talk and many more. Students can setup thier own stall and earn money. The second and the main fest is Riviera which is huge having a 4 day celebration with various celebreties doing proshows and concerts.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure tends to be on the expensive side. The fee structure is based in the categories provided to the students at the time of admission. As the category increases the fee increases as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

VIT has scholarship for those students which can't pay thier fees. For this they also have to get a minimum cgpa as well as have a required family income. Moreover VIT give cash incentives to top 10 studemts from each branch annually.

Campus Life

4.5

Labs are very good rquipped with latest softwares which help the students to do their tasks easily. VIT is also good in sports as they provide multiple grounds, basketball couts, gyms, swimming pools, etc. To enroll in auch activities the students have to pay extra fees.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are old but VIT has done a great job at renovating them. Moreover they are building new blocks every year to accommodate students. The facilities include Ac rooms, badmintton court, etc. Sweepers and janitors are assigned to each floor for cleaning the washroom daily.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni and senior students network is very strong in VIT. They are very helpful when it comes to projects and placements. Any junior can go to them without any fear of ragging to clear any doubt about VIT procedures.

Admission

First you have to give VITEEE which is the entrance test for the VIT. then the students are called to the institute according to thier ranks and given the option to choose their branch constrained on the amount of seats left.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are approachable and helpful. Faculties are obviously have PHds and vast knowledge od the courses they are assigned to teach. Though some faculties are strict some can be flexible and adjsut to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
