The course will be a combination of both curriculum and extracurricular activities. It will contain 3 internal assessment tests and it is an average of 3. We will have assignments. there will be many other events conducted department wise and they will be prizes also.

Placement Experience

They are providing placement training and PDP sessions. Teachers will tell us about the placement and how we should approach it.

There are many extracurricular activities held. There will be departmental events held where we can participate and there will be prizes for its also.technical and cultural event vertex and Swayam will be held. Vertex is a national level feat where students from different colleges will attend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees consist of both tution fees and Cet fees. Collge fee is 40000 and Cet fees is 58000.there are no additional fees for securing the course. It is transparent. There is no facility of paying in the college it's online through online or through NEFT.

I have opted for 1 scholarship. The average amount we get from it is 17000. It is provided by the government.

There is a ground and the basketball court in our college there is a tinkering lab robotics lab in our college. There will be inter-departmental events held .robo events will be held from the EC department and all the department students who are interested can participate and will have prizes also.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good the food is also good and the quality is also good the wardens are caring and will take care. The hostel has a WiFi facility and we can use it. As compared to the outside like pg's this hostel is very good.it is spacious and will create an environment to study.

Admission

I entered this college through KCET. I choose this college because I got many positive reviews from others and I have chosen computer science. The steps are similar to others when we get this college we need to come for admission with the documents and they will give us the confirmation letter.

Faculty

Faculties are very friendly and we can approach them without any hesitation as they are very helpful and will guide us in the right way. They will adopt different techniques to teach us so that we could understand it well. They will give us assignment tests.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Security for Students is very high and no ragging

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
