Course Curriculum Overview
My department is computer science and engineering.I can't say about other branches but in my branch the course curriculum is really good and realistic as well.From 1 to 4 year we can learn all these things step by step. In first and second year the main focus will be on to learn data structures and algorithms and then it is switched to learn new languages like python,java ,JS etc. Exam structure of semester is very simple. There are three examinations - two internals and one external i.e. the end sem examination. This structure is for both theory and practical.
Placement Experience
Placement cell of our college is very strong. In this year they have provided almost 95 % campusing. average package is almost 4 lpa. The highest package is almost 8 lpa. Main companies are TCS ,Infosys , CTS , Wipro etc. Among the those companies only Infosys have provided the internship and the stipend is almost 15 k/mo.
College Events
Events are celebrate is my college - Tech fest , cultural fest , independence day, republic day, Saraswati pujo etc. The main two events is tech and cultural fest.Tech and cultural fest used to celebrate almost 7-8 days. In tech fest , there are almost 30 - 35 events are compited by students.Some external students also come to our college around the country and the cultural fest comes with more fun.DJ night is very awesome.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I think fees structure is feasible. The tution fees is 40000 and it will increase only 1000 in every year i.e in 1st year you have to pay 40000 per semester and in 2nd year it will be 41000 and 3rd year 42000 and in 4th year it will be 43000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships and loan facility also available in our college. Those who are belonging from poor background and have very good academic record, scholarships will be provided to them.The amount of scholarships is half fees of total fees and loan facility also available in our college
Campus Life
Infrastructure of lab in our college is very satisfied. There are so many equipments are available that really help us to perform our lab work and to know about particular topic very deeply. Yes sports is a very important part out college. Every year four years will participate almost 7-8 sports like cricket, football, basketball etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel change is also very cheap. Room rent is 500 per month including electricity and the mess change is 2500 per month including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now taking about infrastructure of hostel, it is really good. There are single rooms available for everyone
Alumni/Alumna
Every year college alumni students come our college on the first day of our cultural fest with some very good advice like how they have struggled in their life and they also inspired us. Senior students always helpful to junior.
Admission
To get admission in CEMK,the one and only criteria is the merit list. When merit list will be published then you can apply here. Most of the depertments have the stragth of 60 students. If your rank comes under top 60 of the particular department then you can get a chance to take admission in the college
Faculty
The Faculty of our college is very nice and friendly as well. They are always available to solve our doubt. They are highly educated as well. Most of them completed their post graduation from IIT. They have that ability to express their knowledge among us.
