Remarks

No bad comments at all only good comments we can have and we can say that college is the best college in India to live and study there not only education one can learn the meaning of life there.

Entrance Preview

IIT after test i searched for different colleges and universities of India at last i was able to find only this university on behalf of my friend and i really i found that this is the right place to study and live.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is too good and unmatchable with other colleges as course is going well practical knowledge is also given to us so that to understand things easily teachers are world class.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was totally good and we met new people there from every country of the world and as university is full if diversity people are already there from different regions so we didn't had to face difficulty among those students during internship.

Placement Experience

LPU has placed 95% of students every year according to a particular data and this college university welcomes different companies through out the year and companies take students as per there need last year there were google who took students amazon was there cognizant etc. many other companies were there.

College Events

College organize several events throughout the year like youth vibe is biggest fest of the college in year and another one is coke studio and many more many celebrities visited the university in last year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is 56000 semester scholarship is also there ,according to marks in previous course or o sports basis. fee structure is little bit expensive of this college but they give you facilities in place of that there are ATMs of each and every bank which you can access anytime there are bio-metric entries for students everywhere inside the university to maintain complete discipline inside the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is on the basis of sports marks in previous course etc if you are doing well something for the university then university can give you scholarship on the basis of your job etc.

Campus Life

Inter hostel competitions are organized well in a whole year and there were lot of inter hostel competitions also in a year robotic labs are also there and there were may fests organized inside the hostel as there are 7 hostels of boys only therefore they organize inter hostel competitions every year.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is one of the best experience in that type of college if u are student from far away then i will recommend you the hostel attached bathrooms and washrooms air conditions air cooled lifts are there biometric entry.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is totally good and fine students are happy with the examination department and they sit in exam stress free because structure is good and meaningful questions come in exams.

Faculty is excellent they know how to teach according to the level of students practical's are also organized and faculty is friendly with students so that to remove hesitation in between student and faculty.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
