Remarks
Our college is well disciplined. Instead of situating in a village not in Calcutta it is famous for placement in West Bengal. It also has a good environmental friendly ambience in our college. I can only say if our college will give pressure about studies other than the curriculum it will be more helpful for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is very good for every stream in our college and our professors try to complete the syllabus for each and every subject before every semester. And the lab facilities is also good. I can say in my 4 years of my B. Tech I never saw any class is not happening or the professor is not coming to teach any class. AOT is known for its discipline, strictness towards studies.
Placement Experience
All the best MNC's like TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI etc and start ups like KEROSS, CLOUDCAPTAN, OPTIMUS etc and product based companies like ORACLE, SAP, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS etc visit our college. College Events
Technical event in our college is known as TechFiesta. Codiesta, Robotista, Webiesta, Snapiesta etc are the different events of the technical fest TECHFIESTA. All the students are very much excited to perform in technical fest. Cultural fest is known as Arcadia. Our college is also famous for its cultural fest because every year out college brings one of the celebrity singer of India. Like Sonu Nigam, Sukhbinder Singh, Amit Trivedi, KK, Mika Singh, Sunidhi Chouhan etc already performed in our college. Our college students also perform in the cultural fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is very much feasible. Like in my time I spent around 3 lakhs for my course. Like around 40K for each of 8 semesters. Total 3 lakhs something I think. It's not much expensive course I think. And It also provides a good placement in the final semester. So I think it is value for money.
Fees and Financial Aid
I think there is no scholarship or loan facilities are offered by my college. However if you are a good student you can easily get a study loan in West Bengal. Placement is also guaranteed if you study hard and score a decent marks in all your semesters. So it is good.
Campus Life
There are basketball ground, volleyball ground, football ground in our college. There is also a gym in our college campus. And many indoor games like carrom, table tennis etc are available in the hostels. There are also workshops and seminars happen in our auditorium.
Hostel Facilities
I opted for the hostel. Hostel fees is feasible. Advance 10,000 rs(one time) and 2000 each month for the seat rent. And another 2000 rs approx for the food in the hostel. And the quality is quite good for food. Two sharing or 3 sharing is available. And both the girls and boys hostel are in the college campus only.
Alumni/Alumna
The responses I got from my seniors is quite helpful. In hostel ai learned a lot from my seniors. In college a lot of workshops arranged by my seniors are also very helpful. They not only help us in studies but also in self grooming.
Admission
Through WBJEE I got a chance to enter this college. Actually the placement is good in this college compared to other private colleges in West Bengal mainly in CSE, IT and ECE branch. And I'm actually very fond of coding so I opted for CSE.
Faculty
Faculty quality is good enough. All the professor were highly qualified. All of them are either M. Tech or doing their PhD. They all are very regular and punctual also. They communicate in Bengali, English and also Hindi if someone needed.
