Entrance Preview

GATE 2013, GATE score 331 & this is a new m-tech course in mechanical engineering. Also this college is the one of the most popular government colleges in kerala. Which is started since 1958 former isro chairman dr. g. madhavan nair is also an alumina from this college. Almost 9 btech courses are in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was good course is easy to learn. Main papers are: heat and mass transfer, ddvanced fluid dynamics, compressed fluid dynamics, design of thermal system, machine design, engineering mathematics, direct energy conversion system, elective;energy conservation in thermal systems, engine pollution and control, internal combustion engine design, design and analysis of thermal systems.

Internships Opportunities

No, we are done internship out side our college. We went for 20 days intrenship at malabar cements walayar, palakkadu. It was good experience.

Placement Experience

In this college have good placement and job opportunities. Mainly it companies are coming for recruitment more than 200 students get placed in tcs private lmt. Other companies are wipro, acenger, suntech etc. Around 500 students got placed in this year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is no admission. tuition is fee rs.6000/- per semester. Special fee rs.3500/- caution deposit is about rs. 1500/- is the fee structurinstitutions and intakethe details of institutions offering p.g. course in various disciplines towards which allotment will be done and the intake are given in the prospectus. For the p g courses in the private self financing engineering colleges in the state, a rank list will be published from among the applicants and admission will be done to the 50% seats by institutions themselves from the rank list, by inviting separate applications.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ecg has decided to offer scholarships (first time in north india) to those students, who are good in their academics. besides, also for those students who maintains uniformity in their regular studies. the detailed view of scholarships is mentioned below.

Placement Experience:

I wanted to continue my research work and that is why I did not take part in the final placement process. The highest salary package offered was Rs.11 LPA and the average salary of Rs.6 LPA. Acsia technologies, Aadyah aerospace, Antrix corporation, COMSOL-India, HCL, Infosys, Intel, and zentron were some of the top organizations recruited in our final placement program.

In a very short period of time the college us able to match the standards of IIT. Few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the college internship program. The college was able to provide the highest package of around 30 LPA and the average package was 11 LPA. Arista Network, Google, TCS Research, Mckinsey, Honeywell, Texas instruments and Larson and Toubro were the top recruiters. Almost more than 65+ companies participated in the college placement drive.

College management is efficient. But the office staff is irresponsible. We have to give our certificates before admission, but they will store the certificates as a irrelevant piece of paper. We got our certificates back as folded and dirty.
