Remarks

In my opinion my college banaras Hindu university creates a very positive impact on my mind as it is a best university in India and ranked 3rd in the Central Universities in India and also I get alot of facilities in my college bhu varanasi

Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is BA. Hons. Social science in which my honor subject is sociology I got a good subject combination of Economics History and sociology I am s fully satisfied with my course curriculum

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities are very good and favourable to the student as we can see this year students of iit bhu got placements of 3 three crores someone got 1 crore package yes my college provide internship also

College Events

Many events are being celebrated in our college campus since its establishment 100 years ago like on 23 December 2019 there was celebrated 101th convocation in which students get their degree in all fields, youth festivals and games are also celebrated

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure in banaras Hindu university is very affordable every student can easily afford it as it only demands 2000 to 10000 as a annual fee it is very acceptable no one is worried about it so go and take admission

Yes their is facility of scholarship you can grab their is up scholarship plus national scholarship also I also fill up the form of up scholarship for this year 2019 approx every one get the scholarship in bhu

Their are all facilities like extracurricular activities like for sports and playing their is big grounds and coaches like Birla, ruyia, brocha ground. Their are also labs and libraries

Yes the senior students of banaras Hindu university are very helpful in nature they help us in many ways like in our classes for study material and notes etc and moreover their is no ragging by the senior students in the university campus of bhu

Admission

I got admission by giving the entrance examination conducted by the University and I qualified in that so that's why I get admission in the main campus of the Bhu its entrance exam is quite tuff but if someone prepare can crack it

Faculty

My faculty is faculty of social science BHU which is situated in the campus of bhu my faculty is performing very well in providing education in all criteria its infrastructure and education system are very well

Great learning environment, experienced faculty, and value for money education.

Likes

The faculty members are very supportive, highly experienced, and always ready to help students with their queries.
The course fee is extremely affordable and provides great value for money for students in this region.
The campus has a peaceful learning environment with a good gender ratio of around 1:1 for boys and girls.

Dislikes

On-campus placement opportunities are limited, and students mostly need to look for off-campus jobs.
Campus infrastructure needs modernization, including better Wi-Fi access and updated lab equipment.
More practical exposure and industry-oriented training programs should be added to the curriculum.

I chose this course because it covers all essential topics required for higher studies. The curriculum is detailed and helps build strong subject basics. Teaching methods are traditional, so adding more interactive sessions and skill-based learning would be a great improvement. Exams take place every semester along with internal class tests, which helps in continuous evaluation without extra stress

A Balanced Review of My College Journey

Likes

The college regularly organizes seminars, cultural events, and technical activities, helping students improve their confidence and skills.
The library, computer labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, providing a good environment for learning.
The teachers are experienced and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable and supportive whenever students need guidance.

Dislikes

Some practical sessions need better equipment and more hands-on training to match industry needs.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.

Timings are perfect and we enjoy the lectures as well

Canteen food the only thing I don't like about my college

They give us lots of opportunities before summer vacations in terms of internship and after the final semester of exams they take our interview and give exact amount of opportunities and don't disappoint us

Likes

The faculty of the college is very supportive and understanding
The campus is also very nice you can easily find your comfort in that campus
Classrooms have unique facilities with smart board in every class and every class room is air conditioned

Dislikes

The first thing I don't like is the college food from canteen because it doesn't not have many options
The second thing I don't like is the sports facilities in the college because there are not every sports available specially football is not available
The third i don't like when the mobile network doesn't come in the college and we face a lot of problems for this

Placement Experience:

Let me talk about the placement of this college the placements and internship facilities of this college are very good for every student who are studying in this college the famous companies such as AVP news ,Aaj Tak , the truth 24 and various news channel comes for placement and internships almost each student gets placed

Likes

I liked the safe enviornment of the college
All the teachers are very supportive and helpful
The concepts are easily understood by the students

Dislikes

The variety of the food can be more but its not so
There are many activities which can be restricted
No fixed timing od dispersal sometimes you have to be extra time

If i had to talk about placement its really nice amd many deserving students are also getting it amd easily placing over different places but it is also on students how much they wirk hard for it. Thank you

The fees is affordable in comparison to Delhi University.
The scholarship scheme is definitely helpful for those who are economically weak.
The main campus has a central library so its quite helpful

Dislikes

The books in the central library are quite outdated
The lack of infrastructure in the affiliated colleges of AU
No merit based scholarship scheme available for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm from humanities background so the course is quite relevant for me. The course is quite outdated however it's the same for most of the universities. the curriculum should be aligned with the competitive exams and the teaching methods should be more inclusive about the competitive exams so that the student can prepare well not only for the present course but also further upcoming exams.

I like their distance education so that students can complete their graduation

If you are really passionate you will get amazing opportunities to get experience.

I have applied in 5 college such as BHU AU DU BBAU and vishwa bharati Many for BA and BSc course through CUET UG, I got BHU and AU but at the end I have switched to BHU because of it is closer to my home and well known for me. I got seat in AU but same time BHU also, so I have to decide one. I put my seat for upgradation and then BVoc HTM. From 2022, there is only one entrance exam to take admission in all central state University in india. That is CUET common university entrance test conducted by NTA. Excellent Place for higher education

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level.
