College campus timing is 6 am-9 pm and after that, you may be fined. Also, hostel-in timing is there. The management is very strict. You can have a great hostel life but couldn't fulfill your wish of roaming outside during the late night. You need to get leave approved by your proctor to leave the college and you have biometric attendance in the hostel at night. Leaves would be approved only if your parents allow you.

Our course curriculum is being designed by keeping the industry experts in the loop. The course is being updated every year by taking constructive inputs from the industry professionals. The exam structure has 3 exams in total, with 2 exams during the semester and one final exam. You have assignments and lab work also which contributes to your grades. the marking scheme is relative and hence relieving the students a little.

Placement in our college is really good. 80-90% of students opting for placement got placed. The highest package was around 40 lakhs per year. The average package was around 6 lakhs. companies that visited were Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, Google, Deloitte, PWC, Manhattan associates, Ericson, TCS, etc. The college conducted training for the students for 2 months for placements by conducting extra placement training classes at night.

There are two major fests, one technical and another cultural fest named gravitas and Riviera respectively. The cultural fest is conducted for 4 days with 8-10 artists in total and pre-riviera functions are also there with stand-ups performed by famous stand-up comedians around the country. the budget for Riviera this year was 1.5cr and many investors like Cadbury Pepsi came in. the fest is being managed by students and there is a selection process for them. The technical fest has around 1000 students attending from all over India. We have Robowars and many other workshops for College students organized that time by the clubs and chapters in it.

My program fee was 1.8lakhs per year and you can pay online DD and all types of payment methods. there is complete transparency in fee-breakdown. there is an additional fee of 50k during counseling that you have to pay to secure your seat in the college. My overall fee including hostel and mess was 12lakhs for 4 years.

I got a scholarship from vit of 1 lakhs given in installments 25k per year. I would be receiving this installment only if I maintained more than 8gpa every year and no backlog. But now the condition for scholarship has been changed and students below the rank of 1000 only get a scholarship.

The campus life is really good with many clubs and chapters that cover every field. You can go into technical clubs or dance and music clubs or NGOs or sports. So you have an ample number of opportunities to spend your time constructively on college. The sex ratio is also very good over here and we have students not only from all over India but from many other countries. we have 4 basketball courts, 4 badminton courts, 3 tennis courts,5 gyms, etc. We have clubs that make rovers and also that work on robotics. We have TEDx and MUN for debates and public speaking and actually, they all are really good as many students go to different colleges and win many prizes.

Since vit recruits many students in one year so when they get placed they get placed in many companies and the alumni network is very strong. We have 600+ companies during placements and hence vit students' care spread across the nation. When I maintained contact with one of the alumni he helped me get an internship in DMRC.

The name of the exam was VITEEE. ECE is a growing branch and also I had an interest in circuit solving. Also, this branch is IoT related. we get an opportunity to swing between coding and electronic part and thus opening the opportunity to go into the software field. Vit is among the best college in private and also a tier 2 college. The infrastructure is great with many labs funded by many companies.it has a beautiful campus and gives a lot of opportunities to grow.

The faculty here is average but some of them have great knowledge and a great way of teaching. All of them are focused on publishing research papers. Some of the professors have previously worked in the industry for 5yrs and later joined the college. They provide good clarity in the subject and encourage students for doing the extra course from sites like Coursera, udemy, and many others to improve their knowledge.
