Remarks
The college was established in 2002 so it is a fairly new college and it will take some time to make its mark. However, it is doing pretty good in all aspects and I hope it does great in the future. The academic infrastructure is really good in the college however the sports facility is not which can be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was decent with some hectic days and some days were chilled. The exams and labs were not too hectic. The course structure did not focus on research which was one bad characteristic.
Placement Experience
The placements were decently good. Some companies with packages up to 16 lakhs visited our college and a couple of students bagged the offers. The average package was around 5-6 lakhs and mass recruiters also visited. Internship opportunities were less.
College Events
There were various festivals and events throughout. 1. Annual cultural festival- utsaha 2. Branch-wise technical events like tech transform and other branch-wise events. 3. Guest lectures by industry-specialized people.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure - the fees came out to be almost 2 lakhs per year for the engineering course. If the quota is management then fees were almost 3 lakhs per year. So the fees were not very expensive. Hostel fees were also pretty decent.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loan facility by Allahabad bank branch being inside the campus itself however I did not take any loans or availed any scholarships. Many people had availed of loans from banks outside the campus.
Campus Life
The gender ratio was pretty good. The student parties were mainly freshers organized every year once. Student diversity was good with students from many parts of the country being there however the majority were from Karnataka. There were societies lie quizzing and debating clubs.
Hostel Facilities
The college had really good hostels with boys hostel inside the campus and girls hostel being outside the campus. The food was average with veg and non-veg both being provided. The infrastructure was good with room size being pretty good. TV was there in the common room and the wifi was good.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is strong and there is a dedicated alumni portal for all the past students available. The senior students were helpful to juniors in terms of studies or anything else also. I did not have any particular alumni experience.
Admission
I got admission after I scored a decent rank in the COMEDK engineering entrance exam and went through a joint counseling process for Karnataka engineering colleges. Did not give any interviews. I Chose this course as I had an interest in computer science.
Faculty
The faculty was average with some faculty being very interested and qualified while some being not so much. Half of the faculty had done some kind of research so were qualified enough to teach the course.
