Remarks

The college is very strict on attendance related issues and thei are a lot of admissions which happen because of donations making a lot of non-deserving students get in engineering and this reducing the overall competitiveness.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is strictly as per the Mumbai University guidelines. Every year has two half-yearly semester examinations with two unit tests in mid-terms each. The practical and viva questions are conducted as per the university guidelines.

Placement Experience

2.5

The college does offer placements and the current placement officer is very active. However, they won't be guaranteeing the placements. For certain branches during our times the campus was unable to bring a single company for their core domain. But if you are capable enough and have a maintained cgpa with minimum backlogs you are sure to get atleast one offer I believe.

College Events

3

1) Vyro Technical festival annual event during February inter-college 2) Tahuko annual during Navratri inter-college 3) Soul of universal for annual cultural and arts events inter-college also in January 4) Sports week annual in January intra-college

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive and I think it is more than what a college of UCoE stature should ask for. Laboratories and workshop all are maintained and well-equipped to begin with very helpful lab assistants. Library too is dependable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Honestly, I don't know of any good scholar's/loan facility offered by my college that I know off and haven't availed any. I do remember however that few students of my own batch were paying their annual fees through loans.

Campus Life

4

The college to it's credit does have well equipped laboratories with able lab assistants and a big open ground to begin with. The gender ratios in branches like civil are pathetic. The college does have cultural and technical societies and that department is quite active throughout the year.

Hostel Facilities

1

No hostel infrastructure or facilities are available. The college canteen too is not very good or dependable. The variety offered is less and the menu too is not what an average engineering college would prefer.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni once in a while the college does arrange for annual meet. The senior students too are helpful and are reliable in the times of crisis. Also the college is relatively new with only four batches who have passed-out.

Admission

Post 12th standard I got into this college basis my CBSE 12th marks and CET entrance examination marks through usual centralized admission process rounds that the government conducts every year. I know of some students who have paid donations to get into the college.

Faculty

3

The faculty are knowledgeable and are Keen on completing the syllabus. Overall, they do not work hard for concept-based learning, also they are not very supportive of the extra-curricular activities. They are biased like most engineering college facilities and have their favourites whom they tend to be partial towards in internal examinations.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.
