To say briefly about my college it has world-class amenities with top faculty in India, where their main motto is to provide quality education to all their students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose B. Tech because I want to be an employee for either a software firm or a communication firm. Only B.Tech provides you the opportunity for settling down in those firms. The exam structure there is very much unique from others.

Placement Experience

Our college provides a separate curriculum for training and placement which makes everyone ready to go for placement. Our college doesn't provide internships. It provides LOR to other institutions for our internships.

College Events

We have many events planned for, many workshops will be organized and many tours for educational purposes will be organized. Apart from this, we will be having a fest and other sports events which will bring fresh energy for students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is somewhat expensive for a middle-class family which will go up to 2 LPA which will be a burden for many people, but the quality we are getting from them makes this a reasonable one.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides scholarships to the merit students, the award this to the top 10 scores of the batch with 10000 rupees for each semester which will be helpful for students for other activities. I have received the scholarship for 3 years.

Campus Life

We have the most beautiful and high-class quality grounds and coaching staff who provide the quality training, I'm also part of the University team for one sport. We have talent acquisition in our college.

Alumni/Alumna

My college is taking care of the alumni network by organizing the events. We had the best alumni network they provide suggestions to us at every point of our career. They are helpful in almost all situations.

Admission

There will be an entrance exam, then the students who score well will be called for counseling where we need to select the branch in our course if we are eligible for that course then we will be given admission to college.

Faculty

All of our faculty holds post-graduate degrees, they thrive for the success of their students in class, on the other hand, they are very friendly outside the class. They teach with great passion and make sure every student understands the topic.

Worth considering for your tech career

Likes

The college starts focusing on skill development from the first year instead of waiting until placements
The campus environment is positive and motivates you to stay productive and keep learning
The faculty is approachable so its easy to ask questions and get guidance whenever needed

Dislikes

The workload sometimes can feel intense during project submission weeks
I would like to see more cultural events and entertainment activities throughout the year
As it's still relatively new so there's no proper placement data yet

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Modern campus with a good learning environment

Likes

Coding is part of everyday life here so you naturally improve with time
Everyone is encouraged to build projects instead of only studying theory
Teachers are friendly and always available for guidance

Dislikes

The workload can feel heavy specially before hackathons
Campus life is more focused on academics than entertainment
We still have to wait for the first official placement season

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is one of the best parts of studying at NIAT. The subjects are designed according to what companies are looking for today, so we get to learn the latest technologies and ai tools. Classes are not limited to just lectures. Wr start using laptop from the first sem itself and most of our learning happens through coding, practical sessions, and real projects. This hands on approach makes learning more interesting and helps us understand concepts much better than just studying from books

Can choose the college with good pros and cons

Likes

I like the infrastructure of our college it good to see .
There will be a veryy wide place and sports for students who are intrested is supported.
College hostel as a the very good and hygiene rooms for girls abd boys .

Dislikes

I dont like the fee that is too much in our college .
For every semester there will be a semester fee that is 1400 it is more compare to other college semester fees.
They make fine if we not pay the semester fee till the date.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our campus are good . Studenta get campus placement from 4th year . The drives are conducted for them . The companies like amazon,wipro,skyde,TCS and more visit ou campus for hiring students . The companies give the offers till 10 lakh per annnum . The highest package in our college is 17 lakh per annum and lowest package is 6 lak per annum. 60 percentage of students get placed in our college every year. I plan to get a good electrical skilled job in my core after degree.

My college Ride

Likes

First thing I like about our college is Infrastructure.
I also like the clubs and events for improving students creativity and leadership qualities
I also like faculty coordination with students for clear understanding.

Dislikes

Lab system maintanence is poor sometimes
Some faculty are not skilled and cannot communicate properly.
Library is not accessible for final years frequently due to some rules.

Placement Experience:

Placements of this year college are moderate and still going.Companies approach our college Example: Capgemini, Infosys, Accenture and cognizant.We have to clear some rounds to select in interviews.Im still not offered any placement and trying to get in next companies.Otherwise my plans would be doing masters in abroad.

Likes

New infrastructure when I joined it is like a old structure now they are improving it
Teacher's are very nyc to us I don't know about the juniors
Peaceful no sound pollution u can enjoy it as much as u want

Dislikes

Favortism like some teachers only care about some students
Money everything should come from the student's pocket
They force u to pay the college fee as soon as possible or else they put lot of charges

Placement Experience:

Final year is eligible for campus selection Microsoft turtle Accenture wipro mahindra etc., near to 50 54 lpa is highest but it is out side the campus lowest is 2 lpa 100 people 40 percentage will get job Job and bussiness don't know When will be the layoff so sidde hustlel

Likes

Sufficient time for developing skills in various fields
No financial pressure on students for examinations
Comparatively better placement rate and stats

Dislikes

Campus size, it is very small and insufficient
Infrastructure is very minimal and doesn't look like an engineering college
No hostel facility for non-locals, no bus facility for day scholars

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Thats my college

Likes

One of the most liked thing is the support from the faculty, being as a mentor, in projects or the studies in every aspect they are excellent
Another thing is the transportation facilities. And they even provide free bus at 8 pm to the closest metro station
The sports facilities here are very good i play sports every week and there are inter college competions

Dislikes

The college is small its around 30 acers and it is in the middle of the city
The college is always under construction they want expand the college so it is always under construction
The exam timetable it goes like 1 and half months it wastes my time

Placement Experience:

The eligibility of placements is to not have any backlog, and the placements are good enough. Companies like google, microsoft, de shaw, JP Morgan Chase, qualcomm, amd, synopsis, MRF, HBL, TCS and many more companies come to hire the students in 2021 we got 97 LPA by a foreign company around 85% of people get placed who are eligible my plan is to do my PHD in the foreign universities

The overall infrastructure and the lecturers were really good.They explains everything clearly until every student understand.And there are labs also where we can learn more practical things lively. There is empty behind the college where itspeacefu.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike about this is it is an women's If the college is co education, girls can understand everything like how to behave with them and they can easily understand what is what and what's going on outside.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year we are eligible for placements.Not only for college placements our faculty also provide assistance for off campus jobs.They also provide training for the jobs .They encourage us a lot to get placement.

The equipment and training classes are really good

Faculty is not that good they are not aware of the topics they are teaching itself amd they are learning along with the students idk why they hired them as professionals to teach us

Placement Experience:

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed

From 4th year student are eligible for campus placements. Cisco company visited our college, and many more company visits. 17Lacks was highest package from cisco company. minimum 9.0 ch pa should be scored for placements. To startup an own company.

A life of an Average Indian Student in University

I have applied to many colleges few of them are Vellore Institution of Technology (VIT), Woxsen University, Manipal University, KL University. I have applied for BTech in All these Universities. But at last moment i decided to flip my course and pursue Food Sciences and Technology so i had to let go all the opportunities in the university. I did apply for Mahindra University for BBA but u got rejected in the Personal Interview round. I got into GITAM througu their Entrance Test. I have got a scholarship of 40% in their entrence test. There are various eligibility criteria for GITAM. The main criteria would be you have to score above 60% in your Intermediate. This Universities accepts students through their own entrence test, AP and TS Eamcet, Intermediate Marks, JEE test series, NEET, etc. The most prefered exam by all the students to get into the university is the Universities Entrence test.
