College experience

The positive remarks are that the faculties there are friendly and they always help us out in cases where they can. The negative remark would be about the administration of my college. According to me, the administration is not good at my college.

course curriculum in my college is based on subjects. Subjects are divided into 3 types i.e. 1. L - learning 2. LT - learning and theory 3. LTP - learning theory and practical. Each course has different exam structures and exams are held almost every 1.5 months.

Vit Bhopal is a new branch of VIT(Vellore institute of technology) which is situated near Bhopal and right now I don't have any idea regarding the job opportunities and placement on our campus but in Vellore and Chennai, they always have good placement and get a good job. Although they haven't provided us yet in our campus teachers were telling us that they might provide an internship at the end of 3rd year

There is a cultural festival once a year which is hosted in a grand manner. Tech fest is also going to happen this year in February. While another festival for different cultures is hosted many times in a year in a small manner.

The fee structure is expensive. My annual fees for academic is 1.95 lakhs and my course is for 4 years which makes it quite expensive. Since college is situated in a rural area and no one in my family lives near that place I chose a hostel room and my hostel room has 3 beds and it costs me around 1.3 lakhs per annum.

Scholarship for students of a government school who had good percentage or ranks was provided in this year although I don't know all the details of scholarship criteria I know that without scholarship the fees is quite expensive.

Sports and labs that are provided to students are good. We don't have any dorm parties and there is definitely no tolerance in regards to gender in my college. It has a PDA fine which has quite a big amount. Even holding hands b/w two friends of a different gender is not allowed other than that my colleagues have quite a large no. Of diversity in terms of cultures, religion, etc.

Since the branch, I studying in is new there has not been an alumni network. My seniors are helpful and there is an anti-ragging policy in my college so no one dares to bully anyone as there are serious consequences in doing so.

Well as the name of the course suggests we are learning how to create games and the process is interesting. I had other options like CSE CORE, ECE, etc. But since there was a course that has specialization in gaming, I chose it as it piqued my interest.

College faculties are very good and all of them have done Ph.D.'s in their respective fields and some of them only teach a particular course. All of them have good knowledge in the field in which they have done Ph.D.
