Remarks

Our college is overall a very nice place and the environment there is very family-supporting There are no bias rules as there is a diversity in the management.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and curriculum are based on the rules and regulations provided by Mumbai University. Mumbai University sets the academic portion and thus the college has to follow it. The course has a lot of extracurricular activities which help to develop one's personality. The extracurricular activities include industrial visits, quizzes, interstate quizzes, etc.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement is provided in various high-end companies like Morgan Stanley, ICICI Bank, IKEA, etc. The institutions hold various talk sessions on the various companies and the employee of each company comes to speak about why their company is the best. They also prepare us for interviews and help keep us up to date with all the happenings in the market.

College Events

Fests like Mosaic, Jhankar, Olio, etc are the fests held in our college. Mosacic is one of the latest fests of our college and it's been successfully carried out for the oast 2 years. All activities from dance, music, poetry, baking, painting to film making have all been involved in this fest, and students from various colleges have participated in the fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of self-financed courses are 18,000 per year and the Bcom Ba section is aided and thus 6000 per year. There is online payment done for the fees by a server called Indeed.com. There is a complete breakdown available of the fee structure and all the courses are provided with different free structures.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have got a scholarship from the college for the highest marks in a subject and also a government scholarship for minorities.

Campus Life

3.5

My college is very known for its excellence in sports. Football, basketball, hockey in both girls and boys teams are available. There are multiple tournaments in which we participate and receive a lot of trophies. There is a lot of gender equality provided in our college as there are more girls compared to boys. The debate team is also very well known because of their achievements.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I do not stay in a hostel as I live not very far from the college premises. There is no hostel facility for our college but there are many hostels near and around the college as well as many students live on a rent basis.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are always looked up to for any kind of academic or extracurricular activities. They are very helpful and understanding and help us in a lot of ways.

Admission

I selected this college Because it is one of the most reputed colleges in Bandra. I selected BCOM as a course because it covered up a wider base as compared to self-financed courses. The college has a good faculty and is a reputed organization with good management thus I went forward to apply to this college.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is strict and very knowledgeable. They test our knowledge and challenge us to come forward with our ideas and put our knowledge into practice. They also provide us with certified courses which help one while working. They prepare us for the working world and guide us towards our goals with proper counseling.

College is Good

Likes

Infrastructure is just too good- Building is Fully Air Conditioned
Placement are really decent for a Commerce Graduate around 6-7 Lakhs per annum
Lots of student Associations are there to gain practical exposure.

Dislikes

Very Strict Attendance Policy of 75 Percent.
Rigid and Time Consuming Course Structure
Lot of Fests are there but they do not match the Vibe like North Indian Colleges Fests

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent around 6-7 LPA and almost 50% students get placed and the Highest package is Around 22LPA . Many MNCs visit the college such as McKinsey,Barclays, Goldman Sachs etc. • I am planning to get placed in a MNC.

My special 3 years which I spend was golden to me

Likes

Most important thing I like about my college is they are like the whole college is so creative.
There are many different batches or mat department but when it comes to fest or festivals they comes together to celebrate it
Talking about placement, the placement cell is soo good that I'll say every colleges should have this level of college cell as they invited, big companies such as Deloitte, hdfc bank,KPMG

Dislikes

The point which I dislike about my college is they should increase campus
Some of the teachers really need to behave like when they talk to students they don't know the manners
Basically the watchman is not good at all I personally feel that they really need to change their watchman as their is many girls in my college so at least one or two lady watchmen should college hire for their safety

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my college they provide us a presentation concept in which they teach us about how to face the real world and the remove the fear of speaking to world .they try to make every student more confident in any manner. Basically my department is soo good that they teach us alot of real world how to speak, how to look, how to handle everything in professional manner

The curriculum is suitable for students who are doing professional courses like CA CS ACCA etc.
There is always a scope for starting a side hustle in this college. You will find many associations and clubs

Andrew's a place of study and fun

I chose St. Andrew’s College of Hotel Management because it offered a great balance of quality education, affordable fees, and excellent placement opportunities. Compared to other colleges like IHM Mumbai and WGSHA Manipal, which have high cutoffs and intense competition, St. Andrew’s had a more accessible admission process. It also provided modern infrastructure and proximity to home in Pune, which was a big advantage. Although I was rejected by IHM Mumbai and WGSHA due to tough cutoffs and limited seats, St. Andrew’s turned out to be the perfect fit. The admission process included an entrance test, Class 12 merit, and a personal interview, with reasonable cutoffs ensuring accessibility. Overall, St. Andrew’s offers a well-rounded curriculum, practical learning opportunities, and strong industry connections, making it an excellent choice for my hospitality career....Read More

St. Andrews is the best

So the admission process was good. It was like that first you have to go to the Mumbai university portal. You have to fill that form then after that, according to your eligibility, the college will be shown in your list if you're eligible to take admissions in the college so you can get the college like when it was my thing so I applied for Mumbai University portal and I wanted to go for B.com then After filling the Mumbai portal form, I went to center site. I filled that form. Then I took out the printout I went to the college. There was Wilbert Sir and John Sir, they help me in getting in this college by telling me all the procedures which was very easy and it was not difficult at all. They were very helpful. They helped me with that how to fill the form to how to take admission each and everything they have explained briefly, I did not had any problem. I did not face any problem. They were very helpful towards me and this is the best College I would ever recommend anyone....Read More
