The main aspect that can be changed is the ways one of the faculties behaves with other students. South Indian faculties favor South Indian kids and North Indian faculties favor North Indian kids. This mentality can be changed and have a fair atmosphere

The course selection and procedure is called FFCS where the students have the freedom to choose their subject faculties, time slot, and electives. A semester consists of three examinations mainly, called CAT 1, CAT 2, and FAT.

Yes, they do offer internship and full-time placements. They offer an average stipend of 20k per month. But the companies which mainly come are for CSE/IT and ECE EEE branches. Very few companies come for mechanical and chemical.

There are two feats conducted by our college throughout the year. GraVITas which is a technical fest and Riviera which is a cultural fest where quite popular celebrities come for concerts, entertainment purposes.

It depends on the quota that you apply thoroughly. If it’s thigh general quota then there are three categories you’ll be put into based on your VITEE score. And after each counseling, you’ll be getting an idea of how much to be paid.

The College has a scheme of stars students where the higher authorities go into the rural areas and identify young potentials and sponsor their education and stay in VIT throughout. Every year they take as many kids as they can and provide education and accommodation.

The labs here are highly equipped with the most recent and latest technologies for the use of the people in and out of the university. There are quite a few people from other parts of the world such as Africans, Chinese, etc which promotes diversity in this university. Even their faculties from other countries.

The hostel rooms are pretty spacious and every day the cleaners come and clean the room. The washrooms are also kept pretty near and clean throughout the day. There are different messes for people who are from North India, South India, etc

They have an alumni page on both Facebook and Linkedin where people can still be in touch with their college mates as well as the faculties. They organize functions or get together periodically to meet and greet.

Got admission through the NRI quota. It’s a first come first serve basis where you have to pay an initial amount and block your seat for your preferred course. There will be an orientation session for students and parents at the beginning of the academic year.

Most of the faculties are IIT, IIM, or MIT graduates. And they have a lot of experience and knowledge in the field. They do not focus on the weaker sections of the class. Their main aim is to finish the portion and conduct the examinations.
