the main campus of vit is located in Vellore, which is a rural village. so there aren't any malls for shopping and to hangout. and as the strength of the campus is around 35k. the campus is too much crowded and you need to wait for a long time in queues to get your work done. and there is also huge competition in education and other circular activities due to the strength of the campus.

Well, the course curriculum is meticulously designed. It doesn't put a lot of burden on students. The exams are held either on the digital pad or on paper. Overall, the exams and labs, both of these are fine.

The placement opportunities are nice. The average package last year was 6.05 lakhs which is quite decent. Here, we have super dream packages which are above 10 lakhs per annum, dream packages which are above 5.5 lakhs per annum, and regular packages which are around 3-4 lakhs per annum. There has been a considerable rise each year of students getting super dream package. The college also provides good internships.

Gravitas is the technical fest held on the campus. Here, there are many workshops, events, etc. that make children well equipped with knowledge related to technical things. It provides a lot of exposure to students and encourages students to have healthy interactions with their juniors and seniors and share brilliant ideas. Also, Riviera is a great cultural event celebrated with zeal and zest. Various artists that include great singers and comedians make the event a memorable one.

The fee structure is divided into five categories depending on the rank the student secures in VITEEE. Hostel fees are around 1 lakh per year including laundry and mess. Tuition fees vary from around 1,76,000 per year to around 5,00,000 per year depending on the category.

Each semester, the college awards students who are have topped in a particular branch. Also, the various clubs and chapters hold competitions that give cash prizes to students who win it like ENIGMA of IEEE.

Extracurricular activities, labs, sports, etc. are also quite good. There is an outdoor stadium where students can enjoy sports. Also, gymnasium, table tennis courts, and indoor and outdoor badminton courts are present. Labs are equipped with all that is required for providing practical knowledge to students and clubs and chapters are also there to ensure holistic development of students during their college days.

The hostel infrastructure is fine. Sweepers can be called for room cleaning once a week. A slip is placed on the backside of the door for giving the sweeper a call. Attendance of students is taken each night by biometric. Laundry and mess facilities are available inside the hostel. Also, other food courts and restaurants are present.

Undoubtedly, senior students are very helpful. They do their level best to ensure that their juniors make the most of their opportunities as they proceed in their lives. They are always ready to support us by all means whether it is by face-to-face interaction or talking on the phone or using social media.

I got admission to the college through the VITEEE entrance exam. Thereafter counseling process was held on the campus itself and I finally got admission. As far as the course is concerned, I am an IT student and the course is extremely fascinating as it makes you able to explore a lot.

Faculty members are generally found to be engaged in whatever they teach. The interaction between students and the faculty is found to be good. Faculty members make children make an effort to ask as well as answer questions.
