My experience in VIT

The management is strict and sometimes ignores the students problems but most of the time it listens and help the students with every way possible.

We have option to choose our course and subjects ourselves. We can even select our desired professors here. The exam structure is pretty simple, we have to give 2 pre exams and 1 final exams here. And one semester is of 4 months. The placement is better here than other colleges as this is a well known college thouroughout the country.

As I am from 1 year, I do have only little knowledge about the placement of the college. The average package for CSE is about 7-8 lacs per annum.

Gravitas is the technical event and it's considered as one of the best technical events in our country. And for the cultural event, we have Riviera which is also considered as the best among all engineering colleges in India. The Riviera is celebrated for 5 days here and many superstars are invited along with sportsman and lot more.

The fee structure is somewhat expensive as the hostel charges are little high here. Other than that everything is okay here regarding the fee. For the mode of payment, the college doesn't receive cash and only accepts Demand Drafts and bank transfer.

Yes I'm here in this college thourough compex scholarship which is given by Indian embassy to Nepalese students. The eligibility criteria for applying to compex is one should score 75 percentage in his 12th and should have atleast 65 marks in physics, chemistry and maths.

Campus life is actually great as we can find students from around the world. The gender ratio is 3:1 (male:female). We have more than 40 clubs here and everyone is friendly here. As this is a university students with different background, language, race are present here.

Yes, as being a foreigner I have to stay in hostel. Here we have 16 men's hostels and 6 girls hostels in total. The rooms are big and the accommodation is good. The hostels are renovated and cleaned often and the security is good.

This college is totally ragging free and the seniors are friendly and help the juniors. You can expect a brother type of relationship from seniors.

I got admission thourough foreign quota. It's simple, we have to apply online for admission and once we get confirmation letter we can contact the international relations office and can take admissions. One can apply to this college from any part of the world by online.

The faculty is very good here. There are more than 8 or 9 hundred faculty here as our college offers a lot of courses. They all are well experienced and have an average age of 34/35. Some of the faculties have industry experience while others have experience in teaching of more than 10/15 years.
