Vit University review

I heard that new rules are strict for hostellers and it can be frustrating at times. Otherwise hostel life is fun and enjoyable. Students play games or chit chat till late nights.

Course curriculum is on par with technical syllabus studied all over the world and various courses cover most of the topics required to be ready to start your professional career. Many courses require you to submit projects and research papers. So it helps to gain thorough knowledge.

Every year in 7th and 8th semester of final year students companies conduct their on campus hitting process and recruit students in high numbers. Placements happen thouroughout the year. Most of the students end up with one or more job offers at the end of their course completion.

There are 2 main fests conducted by Vit University. First one is Riviera and second is graVITas. Riviera is cultural fest and it is celebrated by inviting some well known singers, bands or indian celebrities. graVITas is tech fest and it includes students conducting some workshops, fun events, hachathon etc.

Fee structure is feasible in comparison to other private engineering colleges in India. It provides value for money. There is something called management quota for students seeking admission in their desired engineering branch. It requires a student to pay more fee compared to the other students who are admitted on basis of merit.

I didn't avail any scholarship but I think they provide scholarship to few students who top the entrance test.

Campus life if fun at VIT. Students can be part of many clubs and chapters in VIT and improve their social life. Being an engineering college mainly gender ratio is more on the side of males. There are students from many other countries staying in hoatels and studying in VIT.

Vit University maintains a alumni group on social media platforms and arrange a Meetup from time to time.

Each year VIT University conducts its entrance test and according to merit in the exam students can opt for the campus and branches in engineering and technology. Exam format is similar to JEE exam. Syllabus consists of 11th and 12th class topics of physics, chemistry and maths.

Vit University follows flexible timing for courses. Students can choose courses, teachers and timing slot at start of each semester. Students can choose courses given their prerequisites are completed. Students have option to study a foreign language as well as 1 or 2 subjects from other branches as per the interest of the students.
