Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is structured in a very good way for the students to get in depth knowledge of astrophysics and the masters subject of our choice. There is a lot of scope for research as well. The overall syllabus is very easy to handle and is not too much of a burden for us

Placement Experience

4.5

The institute provides an internship programme post completion of the doctoral degree so the students get a hands on experience in the field of research. The students are given a freedom to choose the area of research of their choice and allowed to explore work opportunities in that field.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As compared to other colleges and universities in our vicinity, this institute provides an averagely priced fee structure with all basic amenities and facilities given to the students. In return for the facilities, the fees asked is worth it and feasible enough.

Campus Life

4

Our institute offers various platforms to seek knowledge about many new interesting facts. Seminars, conferences, workshops and guest lectures add up to our knowledge and enhance it. Our college has also provided us with well equipped laboratories and also with a huge library loaded with useful books to refer to.

Admission

To get admission in the dual integrated course of this college the student must have graduated with a honors degree of B.Tech or BSc. related to the relevant field the student wants to apply in. There will be an entrance exam held in December every year, and the interview for the same will be in May with the head of departments for respective courses.

Faculty

4

Our college has some of the most educated and extremely talented teachers and professors as a part of our faculty and department. They have a lot of hands-on experience in their field of expertise which is why they are able to teach us so efficiently. The teachers are also great at solving our academic doubts.

Remarks:

Research is more of an independent pursuit, so I do not depend on university for any major part of my work. Only for passing the documents related to work, it takes a lot of time, which leads to delay in fellowships, grants for research. The system should be made more transparent and student centered.

A no. Of conferences organised to expand the research collaboration in the world. Many scientists, nobel laureates come to give lectures. You get a lot of exposure to the research in few years. I enrolled as a Int. PhD. Student in chemical science. You get opportunity to do any experiment in the lab. Its like you are given a lab and play with science. Emense machines of crores are available for students like Titan-TEM, AFM, FESEM, NMR, HPLC, ICP.
