Remarks

In a nutshell, the college is very good, the academics, extracurriculum, staff, crowd every thing is very nice. The college is manged in a very good way.

Entrance Preview

JEE mains 2015. I scored 95 on 360. Which seems very less but is difficult to score. I got a composite percentile of 94.89.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is pretty good. The first year of engineering just gives us a glimpse of all the courses in engineering. The first year is very difficult to score and people get maximum KT in this year

Internships Opportunities

I am still in the first year so have not come across any internship but have heard from the seniors that the internship provided by the college helps in gaining experience. Don't know about the pay but we'll reputed companies come in the college for internships and placements.

Placement Experience

4

The TSEC placements are very good. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, jp Morgan etc come in the college. The average salary is 3-4 lakes p.a. And highest went upto 13laks last year. Almost all students were placed in the campus.

College Events

5

Thadomal Shahani Engineering college is best known for events. It conducts the most number of events in whole Mumbai. There are more number of events then lectures. A jolly atmosphere all over campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid 133481 for the first year. It may seem expensive but Comparing other colleges with similar facilities. It's decent. It's a well reputed college. Fees is expected to be high.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship and loan facilities provided. Bhethe college and Mumbai university itself. There is TFWS. Tution fee waiver scheme. Fir those families having less income. And people having good grades get some discount in next year.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is very good. Tsec has a student lounge. Where students chill out. There is a gymkhana for indoor games. Tsec also has intercollegiate sports like cricket football basketball. Being engineering there must be less girls. But in tsec there are more girls than any other college

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There is no hostel in the college but the college provides rooms for rent near station. Rent is affordable. The food in the canteen is good. Mostly non veg. I being a jain do not have much choice.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very interactive. They tell us about everything in the college. Encourage us to participate in events and to join committees. Alumni networks are huge. Don't know much about it though but the seniors are very helpful withono ragging.

Exam Structure

The exam structure including lab tests is not at all hectic. There are 8 semesters. 4 years. Inheach semester there are 2 periodic tests and 1 final test. There is enough time to study for all.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of first year engineering in my college is pretty decent. Some of the teachers teach with passion where as some are least interested. But overall the staff is pretty good and helpful. The college attendance and internals are also well managed

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
