Punjab engineering college Chandigarh

College is pretty good for civil engineering branch and fairly good for other streams too. Staff is overall good. One can opt for various courses and get involved in various cultural and technical events which are held throughout the year.

The course is good. In college we get well managed labs and the cycle of subjects is very good. There are new labs open in the college like Siemens lab and clean room is in process. all instruments are present mechanical labs.

The placement of mechanical is nearly 100 percent. yea college provide internships. The stipend vary from 5000 to 1 lakh. It is vary from company to company. Some get placed in core like Maruti and some get in non core companies.

Pec fest athlete meet, alumni meet etc. pec fest is the biggest fest of North India. star night occur there. It is made at the anniversary year of college. And the people from many college come Hera and take part in events.

Expensive nearly 230000 of one year with hostel and without food. 85000 fees of first semester and 750000 fews of second semester and hostel feet of first year is 70000. The expenses are too high it is not easy to afford.

Scholarship to rank openers and who had income less than 2. 5 lakh per year get up to 90 percent scholarship. The top 3 girls also get scholarship of 99 percent in tution fees. The only one boy who get scholarship if he is rank opener.

Sports and labs are good. The ratio is very poor because this college not have girls kotta. The students are from all categories and mostly come from North India and also from South India. Economy status is good of all students.

60000 the facilities are good and good infrastructure of some hostels and some have poor infrastructure. The college also provide free WiFi facility in hostel which is high speed and it is clean and also get daily cleaned.

Alumni students are good they provide funds to college and help in placements. They help us in internships. They also provide scholarship for poor students. They come in college and interact with students.

The administration is through jee main exam my rank is 21506 and I get mechanical through this. I have choices left of electrical, civil, production, aerospace, mettalurgy. The CSE and ece get closed for other state people.

The faculty of college is best. All teachers are mostly PhD. And most of have very good experience around 10 or more years. The teaching criterion is good. The faculty also helps us in project and also prepare us for place ments.
