Remarks

As per my knowledge, everything here is positive because the way they provide facilities and education is very good and also the internships provided by them are also very good coming to final year placements they are extraordinary.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum consists of 180 credits. for each subject, there will be cat1(15% weightage), cat2(15% weightage), and fat(30% weightage) and internal will be for 30%. the course structure is hectic because of continuous lab assignment submissions and digital assignment submissions and internal exams come very often so this course structure becomes very hectic.

Placement Experience

4.5

VIT Vellore has a full-fledged training & placement cell to, periodically, interact with the corporate world in order to explore the possibility of training and job placement of students known as PAT. A total of 690 companies visited VIT Vellore in the annual placement drive of 2019. A total of 6180 job offers were made to the students across all the streams. Some of the leading companies that became a part of the placement process include Microsoft, Philips, HP, TCS, and Bosch among many others. The highest placement percentage was offered in IT sector with 35% of the overall placement share.

College Events

5

The events and fests celebrated here are namely gravitas and Rivera gravitas is of 3 days and Rivera is of 4 days. gravitas is celebrated in the month of September or October and Rivera is celebrated in the month of February for 4 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible because Now if you are coming on merit the fees are pretty normal like around 1. 5-2 lakhs but if you are coming for Category 2/3 then the fees might range from 2. 5–3. 5 lakhs and for Category 4/5 the fees are approximately 4–5 LPA. Now it also depends on which branch you choose as sometimes you might get some branch at a cheaper cost in some category than the other and this is kinda dependent on your rank but for CSE you mostly have to pay 4–5 LPA for any rank that does not fall in the cut-off.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't get any scholarship because my father's annual income is greater than 1 lakh per year but her if we want to get a scholarship our parent's annual income must be less than 1 lakh else we don't get any scholarship.

Campus Life

5

The extracurricular activities here are awesome because no of the students come from different states and countries the activities conducted here are huge and we can learn so much from here the sports competitions are also awesome.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel rooms neatness and maintenance vary from block to block because some blocks are new and some blocks are very old but we have the opportunity o take the rooms we like according to ranks we get and the person who got good rank can also take their roommates.

Alumni/Alumna

The relation, I established with my seniors is very good because here in every class there will be seniors and juniors because it is a fully flexible credit system(ffcs) so this gives us the opportunity to take courses.

Admission

Admission to VIT is conducted on a merit basis through its own online entrance exam, called the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE), and through management quota also. Nearly 2, 00, 000 students appear for the entrance test every year. At present, there is a total of 4917 seats available for the candidates at VIT University. Before we move towards the procedure, you must be aware of the important dates.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty here are very good they all are well qualified enough to teach lessons for us. some of them have huge experience in research work so they will encourage the students to do research and publish research papers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.
