Remarks
The only thing which I say is a negative remark is that the population of VIT is too much. Have they reduced the intake of students keeping these facilities VIT would have excelled as any other IIT. The positive remark is the infrastructure and the campus they are awesome.
Course Curriculum Overview
VIT has FFCS (Fully Flexible Credit System) which makes the timetable crappy. So the more courses you have that semester, the more hectic it will be. The course structure(CAL - Curriculum Applied Learning) is good. So there will be labs and projects for most of the courses for learning but it completely depends on the faculty and student. The exam structure is not completely good as we have 2 exams before the final exam for the semester. One is a closed book exam and the other is an open book exam which is not good. Recently, they have changed the exam pattern to closed-book tests.
Placement Experience
In our college so many branches are there mechanical, aeronautical, electrical, CSE, civil, MBA, medical like that In that CSE and other two or more branches had a good placement in our college but regarding our branches aeronautical in that only two or three company's are come due to placement No our college dose not provided any internship but they also not gave any grant in attendance (when we go for internship)
College Events
Also I mention below lots of event are celebrating in our college 1.projection 2.natal 3.christmas 4.DHOOM 5.tech expo. 6.farmafest 7.physiofest 8.navratri 9.ganesh visarjan Like that lots of event are going on in our university Also students 1.signature day 2.cultural day 3.tapori day like the type of day we are celebrating. In projection technical and non-tech events are there in that lots of students participate as well as other college students also come in our college and participate in events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tuition Fees (Per Annum): INR 1, 95, 000 Caution Deposit (Refundable) (One time payment): INR 3, 000 Total fees to be paid for the first year: INR 1, 98, 000 The hostel+mess fee on avg: INR 1, 00, 000 It's a bit expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a lot of scholarships that can be availed of through college. All the scholarships which are introduced by the State Government and Central Government for students can be availed through college.
Campus Life
The extracurricular facilities present in VIT are good but you need to pay. Only the outdoor stadium (with non-AC gym) is free to use and the basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis courts present here and there in the campus are free. To use the rest of the facilities like AC gym, indoor badminton, squash, swimming pool you need to pay.
Hostel Facilities
There is adequate accommodation in hostels. Rooms are quite good with all the basic facilities such as adequate lights, fans, water supply, washrooms, security provided with. In every room there 3 people get alloted.
Alumni/Alumna
Till now I did not meet any alumni of VIT. But there will be an alumni meet every year. But I had some interactions with my seniors in college. So these interactions have affected my experience a bit.
Admission
First I fill acpc form and then I decided If I got admission to SVIT college I don't take admission in Parul but I not got admission in SVIT because of the low about of seat so I go again to Parul and fill the admission form and submit all my curriculum documents if they won't and got admission through management quota and pays fees and academic was start.
Faculty
There are only few members who are really good at teaching the subject. Also, VIT has this system similar to tatkal bookings in railways. So you need to choose your teacher before their slots get sold out otherwise you need to go with any other faculty you don't know or wait for the next semester. The faculty might be qualified enough but not everyone can teach well. So you don't expect every student to have the same subject when they pass out.
