Remarks
The university has a good performance in placement. Our university has to develop the infrastructure for sports. There is a lot of students who are good in their respective sports but the infrastructure for them is not available in the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The University Offers also the courses like Master science, Integrated Master Science. Being a part of Integrated Master Science, our professors and all the teaching faculties enhanced our knowledge to a greater extend. Yes, they teach us how our ideas use for industrial purposes. Yes, there were industrial visits organized for us.
Placement Experience
Yes, the placement Cell of VSSUT, Burla also gives importance to the internship. The third-year and second-year students are required to have an internship in any industries or IITs or NITs.
College Events
Our College celebrates not only the festivals but also the technical fest. Some of the festivals that are we celebrate the most are Holi, Diwali. The university provides technical fest Like Vassunt and Samavesh. Almost all the students are participating in this fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As compared to other technical colleges of Odisha the fees structure is a little bit expensive here. For integrated Master's science courses, we have to pay 70000 annually which is very expensive from other colleges. The college does not provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't opted for any education loan but if anyone needs an education loan then the university has some rules and regulations. The scholarship that given to students is E-medhabruti.
Campus Life
The University gives all facilities to students. Gender ratio and diversity are found in our college. Lots of students outside of Odisha are also studying here. The labs are good but the sports facilities need to improve. Societies like Robotics, debates are very good here.
Hostel Facilities
I live in Vashistha hall of residence, VSSUT, Burla. My room number is 63. The hostel facilities of our college need to improve. Food quality is not so good compared to the money we paid. We paid 32000 annually but there is no development of the hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
VSSUT, Birla is the best technical college of state Odisha. I experienced a lot here. The seniors were very good here. They were so helpful.
Admission
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla is well known for its excellent teaching staff, laboratories, and placements which is a dream of every student. It is a high-rank technical college in the state of Odisha. The Entrance exam of the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology was held on Date: 15/04/2016.
Faculty
There is 8 teaching staff in our Branch including 2 professors, 2 associate professors, and 4 assistant professors. The average age of the teacher is 35-55. The professors are giving us ideas about the use of knowledge in industries. The professors are having industry experiences while the others are not.
